I noticed not 2 but 3 differences, the dark glow has loop laces and extra laces, glows blue rather than green like the alvahs, and the glow cage is firmer on the alvahs on the dark glows it’s much softer which If you press it feels like the glow moves. I think the dark glow are factory defects of some Alvah pairs that glows blue instead of green .change the name and there a new yeezy.probably why they didn’t hype them barely at all.
It glows it just takes longer or harder to glow . Due to the black microscopic mix in the glow parts it doesn’t glow as strong as the alvahs. Leave in natural sunlight. It does glow but not as long lasting but it’s cool. If you want the glow harder then get alvahs

@@finessinshoess thanks ! Experimented a bit. It can be charged by flashlight of a cellphone, but illumination does not last long. From sunshine stepping to dark room is amazing, it lights, but it does not happen often 🤷♂️
Check if yours have loop laces and extra laces in boxes otherwise You received the alvahs by mistake, u lucky. U can’t tell the difference between alvahs and dark glows until you check the laces and charge it up. I got both and without glows it’s identical
Did you go true to size or did you go half a size up as recommended? They’re definitely not the most comfortable sneakers ever but they’re not uncomfortable in my opinion.
