I was no fan of any song covers in a different language for that I believed there can't be a perfect translation in both the rhymes and the emotions told from the lyrics. This cover however does say all the feelings in the original version while keeping the verses rhyme flawlessly with the original lyrics. The first two lines in the hook have the equivalent length to the JP version. And the punchline in the JP version I think is the second last line, which is perfectly presented by 'never letting go' which rhymes, and the meaning is moved to the next line, 'Just like a ghost'. Your voice catches me, and your lyrics touch me. and then you got me subscribed lol

She did say that it's a message. Towards all people not just her fans, iirc. About her being a VTuber/Virtual Idol and her struggles. Some people aren't really impressed by the whole VTubing thing. You can only see her avatar and it might mean it doesn't have much weight or meaning to some. All those lyrical lines like the "Dancer in the Dark," or silhouette or even the title, Ghost. Stuff like that. And I remember Suisei saying this song is her saying something along the lines of "Yeah, well... I'm right freakin' here. For better or worse. Whether you like it or not." And considering what she had to do to get where she is, she has all the right to tell those people. She worked her ass off for this. This is just what I remember Suisei has said and how I interpreted the song considering all that.

I really admit you did a great job in covering her song! I'm glad it turned out really well and honestly, this is a really amazing cover. Never thought I'd see the day that rachie the great would evolve into such a cute vtuber inspired by other Vtubers. Turns out the same inspiration resides in me I too plan to become a Vtuber when the time is right. I'm a trans girl so it will require more time for me to get what I need. But when I can get to the point I wish. I will take strides towards becoming one. It'll be my first time as a streamer and full content creator but I already know the hardships. And I'm prepared for the long road. Being a Vtuber to me means spreading love and happiness and kindness. It means being yourself no matter how wacky weird or dumb you might sound. It means being who you are on the inside bringing your heart to life and sharing it with the world. Making peoples, lives better by being yourself. To me that is the essence of a Vtuber.
