Another thing about the Babylon Rouges vs. Master Zik fight: Zik said at one point that “you only sacrifice your own when it gains you the advantage.” Meanwhile, the Rogues would never abandon each other and Jet says at the end that they’ll all win together.
So yeah, while Zik primarily thinks about strategy and takes great pride in it, the Rogues trust in each other’s abilities and take great pride in winning as a team.

I think I know what Sonic is up to. He plans to have Silver go Super along with him, so that they have someone that can keep the Zombots away as well as fight Zavok while Super Sonic Fixes things. That or he plans to have Super Silver fix things while Super Sonic handles the rest.
Or you know I am just saying are he is going to die because all the times when sonic was about to turn sliver saves him
I hope it's Silver fixing the timeline, it would be a great little moment for Sonic.
Silver is literally a tank
This was one hell of an issue. I had worried that Whisper would befall the same fate as Tangle, so seeing that she escaped was a treat.
As for Zor....gonna say it here...dude has serious masochism and sadism issues. Silver was a such a dork, but by god was he a lovable dork.
Espio went freaking HAM on Zazz, I have expected Espio to inadvertantly kill him, but it is a relief that he is back to himself again. Although it was surprising to have Zazz survive.
The Rogues, Jet in Particular, had quite a good moment to shine. Jet's desire to stay behind for his teammates and stick with them to the end has earned my respect. Makes you realize that he actually does have some sympathy for them, and isn't such a freaking blowhard.
Focusing on the subject of a bigass Zeti Kaiju with what looks like a heart attack on the horizon, or some form of physical strain, this is getting ugly.
Thinling about all that has happened in this Saga, Sonic's misunderstanding of time travel as that in and of is one complex beast in and of itself. At the same time, Issues 14 and 21 were pivotal moments in the Saga.
If Silver hadn't intervened, he'd be blown up or turned already. So Sonic may be referencing those two incidents, which in turn means Silver's actions have already made things better to some degree. But when this Saga wraps up, I have one question: Will Silver remember this at all?
Usually, time travel dictates that whenever someone travels back to the past to change something, it ultimately wipes said individual from existence since their future doesn't exist anymore, or are given a role in the future at the very least. But, we can walk away from this knowing Silver actually had a big role to play aside from issuing a warning.
Overall, an excellent issue. But, Sonic's greatest mistake has come back to bite him. Sonic is staring down his fallen allies and friends recounting the lives he's ruined because of his belief that even people like Eggman can have some good in them. Now, he has to realize that he was wrong, and fix it as best as possible. He can't keep giving Eggman chances when he shoots them down every time. Sure, Eggman will make himself scarce as the world will need time to heal, but he can't hide forever.
Probably, Silver survived 06 and that entire timeline was completely erased. So chances are he is going to remember as he is sorta displaced from the actual consequences of time travel. As for Sonic, it wasn't really a mistake. He gave them a second chance, one that they squandered. It's not really Sonic's fault for the choices of someone else.
This Silver is from Forces Destroyed Future, I’m not sure he is the same from Rivals but whatever. If we see him again either it’ll be for another disaster with a new solver or the same one. If the same one, he’ll probably leave for one issue or so because he’ll tell sonic and hang his future is still destroyed. But any case I love this Silver and I hope there is more to him in the future. Also, I’ll cry if we see this Silver’s Super Form.
From what I can tell, Silvers thing in the comics is continually time traveling to make a good future only to have to go back again. Like in the comics, he's the Silver from Sonic Forces, but after the events of that game, something worse happened (Metal Virus), causing him to go back in time again.
I think he is supposed to be detached from the timeline, Time in the Sonic universe is notoriously weird, you can't just erase a timeline and be done with it, there will always remain stuff from those erased timelines. No one survived after the zombots supposedly so it's not unfair to say that probably not even silver's grandfathers were born in his future. The reason he knew he had to return to the past in forces is because he noticed the difference.
After a long hiatus, it's good to have a new issue. This one was good, mainly because of the fights. I've been wondering about one thing: Zavok, after becoming a giant, picks up a bunch of Zombots and toss them to Angel Island. Is the Chaos Emerald protecting Zavok?
The hand he was using to pick up the zombots was covered in chaos energy so I think so.
He picked them up with sand under his hand to avoid directly touching them, then created an electric magnetic field around them before throwing them at Angel Island.
And why doesn’t he just signal the deadly six since he might not know no they are defeated and if he did zazz should be helping zavok

Ik this has nothing to do with the comic but I just found out about Shadow. IDK where or when it was stated but Ian Flynn says that SEGA wants Shadow to be a loner and isnt friends with Rogue. If those tweets are true then Shadow's character is more dead than Knuckles. If you want to see the tweets, its in a video from SpeedSuperSonic about Shadow at the end of the vid.

The zombot saga has been great. My favorite of the Deadly Six fights so far has been Cream and Gemeral vs Zeena.
Honestly, I'll be glad when the Metal Virus Arc be finally over! No more watching Sonic and his friends suffer from the suppose uncureable virus
And hopefully Eggman will get an appropriately sized due.

2020 year of chaos
Wow!! The magic conch shell!? How did I miss that the first time I read this issue? This issue was originally scheduled for April 2020, meaning the next issue was originally supposed to have been released on May 2020. Spoiler: There will be a two-part epilogue to the Zombot saga before the next saga begins with Evan Stanley, while working with Ian Flynn with the future issues, taking over as head writer to the main IDW Sonic series beginning with either issue 32 or 33. Anyway, 2020 IDW Sonic Annual will come out on July 8. And for those who were wonder, NO, the Freedom Fighters will not appear in the IDW Sonic comics. SEGA of Japan and Sonic Team won't allow it.

@@Mr-wr2id Ian Flynn explained that Evan Stanley will be collaborating and working with him to write the next series of issues for the rest of 2020 and the next 12 issues for 2021, all of which are already planned out and outlined for next year he stated. Ian Flynn will return as the main writer again after that. Currently, he’s working on the next IDW Sonic comic mini-series with artist Jack Lawrence called “Sonic the Hedgehog: Bad Guys” and it’ll involve Dr. Starline, Rough and Tumble, and I believe it’ll also involve Mimic and the Deadly Six also. He stated that this new mini-series will be out next summer in the year 2021. All ideas, plans and issues for IDW Sonic and its mini-series have to meet the approval of Sonic Team and SEGA of Japan.
Okay, imma take a wild guess, Something with happen to the emeralds and silver will somehow use the future’s version of them and maybe give it to Sonic at the end since he’ll maybe won’t need them.

I apologize for a lengthy post, but I had a lot to say on the comic like I always do.
It's been soooooo loooonggggg.
Everybody will wan't a piece of Eggman once the metal virus is gone, so I hope the doctor has a good escape plan or things will get really ugly..... FOR HIM!!!

I most likely think Silver will join Sonic and go Super. Now, you might not be thinking this but people might sooner or later say “BUT THE COVERS WONT WORK WEHLL TOGETHAH!” Well, for the small percentage of the people who say that, let’s think, the covers were shown to us early and there were key differences. Like for Issue 27, the Zero didn’t have the chaos emeralds on them, and there was another cover(I forgot what issue it was) where It showed Espio & KNUCKLES vs Zazz, things can change any second and I feel like that the covers don’t matter too much for the story, they can change things at the last second.

Sonic is probably right about the time travel thing though it's foolish to just assume that the butterfly effect will just take care of everything. Including the time traveller in as many events as possible is a good idea nevertheless. And if the comic is going the direction I am guessing based on the solicitations and cover arts from the next issues it doesn't seem like their plan will go perfectly

Eh i probably don’t have a good gage on this considering I never played lost world but I’m actually coming to rather enjoy the deadly six cause of this comic! They make a diverse set of challenges and personalities and serve surprisingly good foils so some of the other characters like you said. At first I was a little skeptical but so far a lot of arc in the IDW line really do feel like they could be adapted into video games, they have a sort of pace to them that feels like moving along different levels.

Actually, "Flurry of Blows"-like moves are commonly used among unarmed fighters in fiction. Goku does it as well.
@@videogollumer I'm aware of that. What I'm saying is that the artist in question drew it almost in the same exact fashion Eiichro Oda does for his main character. I've read enough chapters of One Piece and Shounen manga to see when someone is obviously drawing from one of his pages as reference or in tribute. It becomes especially obvious when it pops up in a western comic book. That's why I put the link for comparison. No other shounen artist I've seen draws the "flurry" specifically like that.

eh, something about the "i have a guardian angel watching over me" thing rubs me the wrong way, i kinda see it as another case of "have main character praise new character for the audience" thing they've been doing with silver and whisper for awhile now, kinda wish they'd tone that down, like have silver say he has friends watching over him or something instead, i don't know.
on a more positive note, i like how espio uses his kunai on a rope for swinging like in sonic generations, and if i'm not mistaken the pose he does along with the leafy wind that surrounds him before turning invisible is a reference to how he turns invisible in sonic heroes (via activating tornado first), so that's neat, and good to know these comics are continuing the archie comics tradition of turning gameplay power-ups into an actual story thing, in this case, jet's bashosen.

So its ones again time for me to give my thoughts on the Issue.
As I actually have a few positive things so say about it would I say lets start there.
Silver for ones is actually written correctly as the serious yet hopeful warrior for a better tomorrow.
Same can I say about the Babylon Rogues which were also written perfectly in character.
And I guess the moment with Espio before he goes back to the portal was kinda cute.
Now before I come to the things that are actually wrong this time around let me just bring up one thing that is oddly convenient even if not really bad. That being that all characters returned at the same time from the Portals.
Now were we got the good and the inoffensiv behind us lets talk about the really bad things.
And Starting there will I by reminding you about how laughably bad it was in the last issue were Cream was infected out of nowhere as there is no part in the story where she could have gotten that infection from? Yes you do? Good because its back here with a vengeance. Storm and Wave suddenly have far more room than before and Storm even has his board back, Espio all of a sudden plenty of space to run while he was completely surrounded last time and the Face Ship is all of a sudden far further away than it was at the end of the previous issue were no one had yet returned.
Well that is quite the start.
Now than lest talk logic First of all Espio sure he is a Ninja but you can't seriously want to tell me that he can casually get the emerald from Zazz without him knowing despite him being able to smell him clearly, being filled with Power by it and being him self fast enough to fight the infinitely faster Sonic the hedgehog. And this is not helped the slightest by the fact that it happened completely off panel as in non of the shown panel Espio could have ever grabbed the Emerald.
For as good as the Babylons were Character wise so is Zic unreasonable dumb here given that he fall for the same attack of Jet Twice.
This would have been one thing for one of the dumber members of the deadly six like Zazz or Zommon but he is suppose to be the second smartest right behind Zavoc.
Than Sonic him self as Megabeatman already said him self is Sonic him self an idiot for not realizing that Silver already saved his ass twice meaning in the previous timeline could the Super Sonic Chaos Contol + Warp Topaz plan never have come to be as all Chaos control users were already ether dead or Zombie Robots. But we can on top of this also list that Sonic is all of a sudden far more fit again despite needing to constantly running, he while explaining his plan already nearly passed out and needed Tails and Eggman to build a treadmill to prevent him from collapsing.
Between all of the Story, artwork and in case of issue 25 even lettering contradictions in this story arc do I seriously wounder what the hell are the Editors doing because there certainly didn't prove read any of this.
Oh I almost forgot to also include that fact that Amy is not nearly brocken enough about the fact that there lost Cream given how close the 2 are suppose to be AND the fact that she promised Vanilla to keep Cream Save.

when it comes to zsasz, i like what mega proposed here, wherein the smoke is masking espio scent so zsasz can't track him that way, shame the comic doesn't really point that out so it's more of a speculation, but hey, it's sound speculation.
i don't really think you need to show espio grabbing the emerald, you could easily reason that espio took the emerald during his flurry of punches when zsasz is at his most disoriented, what you should be talking about is how at 3:50 when espio says he already won, zsasz still has the yellow emerald on him even though espio should probably have it by that point, must've been a mistake by the artist.
as for zic, eh, maybe he got overly cocky and was completely sure he had the upper hand?
well, sonic is very tired, you can't really think straight when you're tired so i'll cut him some slack.

at first i was very confused, but then i remembered that long claw and movie sonic made it in, so, yea, nothing important, but good for the fans non the less.
@@rynobehnke8289 It could be that she was; the comic cut away from her to focus on Sonic and Silvers conversation and she wasn't seen again until the final panel. Another case scenario, it could be that she was petrified with horror, unable to actually breakdown. Also, by the time Sonic and Silver finished there conversation, everyone else noticed the Faceship, which immediately turned the situation into a "no time to mourn" situation.
@@alimowla3204 It could also be that Zazz was too angry to think, thus didn't think to sniff him out. He may not be the dumbest Zeti, but he's definitely not the smartest either. Not only that, but when a person gets angry; their muscles tense, their throat tightens, and mucus can build up, making it harder to breath let alone smell. Also, let's be honest, Zazz has the shortest temper of the Deadly Six; and he was definitely enraged when Espio started to win.

First of all would I like to inform you that UA-cam didn't notify me about your or VideoGollumer's response so I hope this will even reach you.
As for your points.
I can see what you mean but my problem with that it that Espio always creates a little tornado around him when he turns invisible (and this isn't just a Sonic Heroes quirk we literally see the wind blowing around him in the comic) and so I would assume he would also blow the dust away when he turned invisible.
Okay my biggest issue with Espio getting the emerald before was that Zazz just didn't noticed his power dramatically going down but with this tidbit about how he still had the damn Emerald when Espio declared his victory and run off is just hilariously bad were the hell are the editors on the book this staggering amounts of artwork errors are just at this point beyond bearable.
As for Zik is this hardly an excuse given that even during the fights in Lost world did he often employ using shields or staying at a distance using energy blast while running away. He is properly the least likely of the Zeti to make such a beginners mistake and allowing Jet to hit him twice with the same wind blow attack because he just didn't even attempted to dodge. (yes even with Zavok would this be more likely as he actually is in his fight rather brute force focused because he can tank a lot of hits)
As for Sonic I guess even if I am to 85% sure that this is suppose to be setup for a Silver Ex Machina latter on to make Silver saving the day seam less tacked on that it really would be.
Towards your link if you listen closely can you heard the cries in Anger and agony of thousands of Freedom Fighter fans about the Injustice there experience right now.
By the way data miner also found these renders in the lattest version of Sonic Dash so ones that update drops will the Sally and Co fans cry even more poor them waiting 20 years for there characters to be in any game or being acknowledge by Sega only for the all New Tangle and Wisper to get official Sega store merche and game tie-ins in the first 2 years of there existence.
God I hate the Deadly Six. They are some of the worst characters in the franchise.
