10/10 tutorial. Swift, straight to the point and fast enough to allow me to 'temporarily borrow' a Mirage 2000 before the French authorities could stop me.
It should be noted that since the pilot commands AoA under 300kts, stick position = commanded AoA. Ergo you just gotta pull to about 40% deflection and the nose will rotate and be held there by the FBW. No need at all to deflect fully and then correct like on a mechanical FCS. On landing, the dashes at -3 degrees represent the ideal glide, just like in the F16. Those either side of the landing aimpoint + VV in between and the chevrons in the brackets = literally perfect approach.
Great video, I'm not currently flying the M2000, but enjoyed your tutorial greatly and saved it on a playlist as reference, for when I return to flying the Mirage. Nice idea to combine the take-off with the landing, on a single tutorial. Cheers.
Tricker! Love it! I feel like I speak for a large portion of the community when I say that we have so many planes in our hangars…. and it’s videos like this that make me feel like finally going to take some for a spin and learn them. Keep these comin sir!
One important element to keep in mind: the drag chute is only available if the jet is NOT equipped with the ECLAIR countermeasure pod, since it replaces the chute
My old man was crew chief of a maintenance crew on the Australian Mirage III/O in the RAAF (77th squadron) before they upgraded to the F18. I awalys have time for the French Lady :)
Outstanding tutorial, Tricker! As someome who just recently discovered this wonderful module, your lessons add immense value for newbies like me. Also, there's something about flying the M2000C that just feels ... right ... you know?
Gotta practice that centerline discipline! Great highlights of all the things that make the M2kC such a pleasure to fly. Can't wait to see how you demonstrate the autopilot. Best one I've ever seen/heard of.
Thank you all for the support!

Just need to work on my external shots to become a master like yourself!
@@TrickerDCSyou’re already there man! Loved the visuals
Sadly the mirage 2000C were retired from the french air force last year 🥺
I've only dreamed of flying a Mirage 1999 like an understudy. The full 2000 and pro-level seems a bit above me
You’re so silly 🥹
OUIIIIIIIIIIIIII ! please do more tutorial on this beautiful machine of my country as a M2000 pilot i say merci to you !

Nice tips
Saying that landing was sweet is an understatement! We need more M2K love! Thanks for sharing!

Appreciate the comment, I love the mirage and flying all the modules. Always nice to fly something after a few months or years
Great vid…learned a lot of the details…keep the tutorials coming, you are a great teacher on all your planes!
Great tutorial ! Thanks for this - the 2000 and the F-1 are consistently satisfying to fly and fight in, every day.
Tricker I'm highly anticipating your F-15E tutorials. You are the best.
Unfortunately I wasn’t selected as a content creator to get the f15. After it comes out I’ll be deep into it though
Ooo, Tricker! You're getting serious with these! 👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻 Nice editting, too!

My favourite Module in DCS! Good practice with good advice make perfect! Nice tutorial!
Thanks for this tutorial, too. :) Radar tutorial where?
The dorito is a work of art.
I've got to say, your videos get better and better. Those external shots were beautiful. Nice job, mate.
Thanks man, I’m trying some new things out

This is very well done. Please keep up these videos.
Love the M2K. I feel like its an unappreciated module. The F1 is great also. The French know how to make awesome aircraft.
Dude, these videos are so good! Thanks for all the effort you put into these
Thanks brother
Cant wait for your Chinook video series. 😜
Can’t wait to see you fly in your running shorts

I know i'm trash! The autopilot is amazing though
Nice Tricker
Would love to see your keybinds on the mirage 2000
I have the Thrustmaster a10 HOTAS and I used chucks guide to set it up; with just a few additions
Would be nice if yo finished this series off..was getting into them
Life happens, I’m getting the itch to get back into making videos though
@TrickerDCS I hear that bud. Well hopefully you come back
can u do a radar tut?
I would say this is more of a mid-level management style of tutorial. Include the auto approach mode to really get boss status :)
I’ll be doing that here soon
I've always thought this jet was so old fashion, but it's quite capable, isn't it?
It's pretty great
This is cool and all, but how do I take off like an employee? =p
Tailstrike and blame it on the janitor
@TrickerDCS Sweet I'm halfway there.
Didn't even look like a tailstrike on the "wrong" attempt :-D
Haha was pretty close to the nozzle
@@TrickerDCS yeah if it was about to get as close to a tailstrike without getting a tailstrike you probabl would have won a medal :D

I gave up on this plane once I couldn’t do an ins alignment. Up side is it looks like f-117 cockpit
Need to come back!
i wanted to take off but i got the bingo alarm the jet is all fuelled up
Where is he flying out of, what map is this on?
This is on Persian gulf
What game is it?
Dcs World
Can you take me on as one of your students?
Yes Sensai
But I want to take off and land like a bro.
#missedopportunity
For the Algorithm!
Thanks Peter
Who do you think you are a real pilot or something 😂 #realworldgamer
😂😂😂
might be time to pick up the mirage
It’s pretty awesome
