I have the 880+ and I just love her. The jumbo hoop is fabulous and is the one I use most often, especially for your designs, Sarah. I have watched all the videos on the new 990 and it looks to be an even more amazing machine than the 880+. That being said, the price tag is massive and I will bide my time for a year or two!
A big selling point for me is that I will be able to do more quilting myself rather than sending everything off to a longarm. I do basic straight stitch quilting but the B990 and the pinpoint placement and jumbo stitch and laser and such will really allow me to quilt at home.
No, it's much too expensive! I own a Janome MC6700P and a Janome MC550e. Those two machines are perfect for me and I have money left over for fabric! 😂

We are also doing the same.

Those are fantastic points indeed! Def worth getting such new machine.
I have the Janome M17 and I love it. The largest hoop is extremely secure on the M17. I’ll wait about 7-10 years to upgrade to a new machine.
I think others feel the same way too.
Yes I am
Let us know how the new machine works!

Definitely another thing to consider! Great input.
I have a Solaris, I'm not planning on upgrading, I don't use the large hoop either.
If that's the case definitely do not upgrade.
No I just brought the 790 Pro
No although the machine has great features it cost more than my car I just bought.
That we understand and upgrading might not be an option for now.
NEVER!!!
