Flush DNS cache did it! Restarting the modem did and clearing browser cache did not. When I watched your video I didn't have speakers hooked up and still was able to resolve the issue. Thanks

for some reason i cannot run the cmd as an administrator.. i tried all the other steps but nothing has helped me so far.. the page i am even trying to load is 100% secure AND i can open it from my phone (i need it to work on my pc tho).. can you please help
it says this when i entered the last command
netsh int ip set dns

I can now access some websites, but still having the same 'this site can't be reached' (x site took too long to respond) message with some - outlook and the room booking system I use for work - any idea what I can do about that?

Hi, i’ve tried all of these on a mac and none of them work, what should i do?
Try to check any antivirus (for example : avast) that you install in your device and try to disable web protection. Because sometimes it is also cause by it.
I followed all the steps, even formated the Pc a cuple of times and nothing works, still stuck on the same error

I had an application hosting in windows server. A record is pointed to server ip but when did nslookup it’s not showing domain name or ip address instead showing non existent domain I even did flushdns same result. However client said it’s pointed and can see correct results. Can you please help if in windows server do I need to point server ip to dns name servers and how to it ?

Hi I am getting an error while using the release command.
C:\WINDOWS\System32>ipconfig /release
Windows IP Configuration
No operation can be performed on Ethernet while it has its media disconnected.
No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 1 while it has its media disconnected.
No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 3 while it has its media disconnected.
An error occurred while releasing interface WiFi : An address has not yet been associated with the network endpoint.
How to fix this?

@@alanj.5897 Hey Alan, I tried flushdns, release, renew commands, it seems it worked after sometime. Do the above mentioned steps and try accessing the websites where you got error after sometime or next day. It should have been fixed. Ignore the messages. It does not matter. One of my networking friend told me release and renew would be enough to fix the issue.
Thank you for helping me fix my 'This site cannot be reached' problem on my chromebook. Running a diagnostic is mentioned DNS cannot connect. I performed the first three fixes just in case. Everything seems be be back to normal. You have a new subscriber.

its probably because your monthly internet connection exceed its data...meaning you download too many things like prawn and movies or other things. Hence the reason why you cant access prawn website anymore, you can simple recharge your internet work and it will work just fine...
My internet is working fine and even i can watch videos on youtube nicely but still when i open some websites it says this site can't be reached
