Siendo brasileño y consciente de vivir en una isla cultural rodeada de países de habla hispánica, estoy de acuerdo en que el español llevaría información a una audiencia muy interesante e interesada. La inclusión de subtítulos en ese idioma ayudaría mucho. ¡Por ahora ya estoy agradecido por la traducción al inglés! 😄

In Canada we have a lot of convenience stores, but Japan takes the concept to the ultimate level. I'm so jealous of Japan's 7-Eleven, Family Mart, and Lawson stores! 😋

I was in Japan last year and when I discovered the Jumbo icecreams my life changed forever. I would eat one for dessert every day. A few weeks ago I visited Japan again. And again, ate a Jumbo every day for dessert. They are delicious!

I find that this girl represents what I admire about Japanese culture. I find the Japanese cuisine fascinating. I do not care about puffer fish but regular fish such as salmon is very healthy. I adore the demeanor, the emotional response, the ability to perceive things western in a different way. It is too bad I expect Japanese people would frown on me as an American.

I am jealous of your collection of ice cream
I was most interested in the first ice cream here, the Yukimi Daifuku. About a year ago grocery stores here started selling it. The packaging is different, as it comes in packages of six and the text on the front is replaced with just "Mochi Icecream". Probably because nobody here would know what it was otherwise. You're right about convenience stores in other countries. Japan is notorious for its huge amount of convenience stores. I remember when I was in Tokyo there was a store every two blocks. Here you might see one convenience store every 20 to 30 blocks. Also, if you're thinking of doing mukbang in the future, I don't think you need to eat huge amounts of food. People will expect to see you eating but nobody is going to care if you're not stuffing yourself full.

Here in America, we have a wide variety of ice cream, too numerous to mention all the types, often sold in 1/2 gallon size cartons. We also have popsicles & ice cream sandwiches. We have ice creams with or without nuts, some with marshmallow. Some are more seasonal like peppermint & also spumoni ice cream sold around Christmas. I am amazed at how many convenience stores in Japan. America tends to have the large supermarkets, but we also have 7-eleven. We used to have Lawson convenience stores in Michigan but not anymore. I'm happy to see they have them in Japan.

Interesting video, thank-you. I did not know the name mukbang, but have seen some eating videos on UA-cam before.
I think cities in Japan have many more convenience stores than in Europe or north America. In England they tend to be quieter areas where large supermarkets are not near. Typically in small towns, or residential areas of a city. Maybe have a coffee machine and factory foods, but rarely freshly made foods like a konbini.
In the United States, we have way too much varieties of ice cream. They come in small containers, to bars and sandwiches, and large amounts in gallon(s) form. I would say the most common is half gallon or pint. My personal favorites are mint chocolate chip, pistachio, and an ice cream call Moose tracks (vanilla ice cream with chocolate swirls and peanut butter cups).
That said, those 8 ice creams you chose did look delicious. I am not sure the rules to Mukbang but maybe next time you can only eat portions of each type of food and save the rest for later. Good job and your face is not too round. You look nice the way you are. :)

Well, in Germany we have countless varieties. But the majority of them involve chocolate or vanilla. Surprisingly Discounter supermarkets often come up with the most creative tastes, like smoothie popsicles or woodruff taste yoghurt flip for example. The major brand producers scarcely offer such. But at the end of the day, the best ice-cream is to be found in Italian Ice-cream Cafés, which can be found in nearly every town in Germany. Unfortunately, it's season break and they are all closed right now. 😩
