Monicah you are doing an amazing job. Go go homegirl!!
U speak in English in a comment while the video is in Kikuyu without English subtitles how do we understand
I have one please
Aunt Mumbi's calling is greater than marriage......it's God's plan that some women stand firm in different callings than marriage....greater calling
.
Tata Mumbi your surely an insipration. You dared to stand your ground and follow the path to your happiness. Despite the society expectations. You refused to be defined by marital status and chose what made you happy. May we learn from you. May we have the courage to choose our happiness.
I know Sister Mumbi. She is an amazing woman. She is a pioneer in the Church Army ,an Anglican institution.
I'm single because of so many reasons but at least I have a Son I thank God. The interview is lit. I feel Rev. Martha.

Thank you for this great interview. Please tell this great lady to collect rain water.
I would like to have her smooth skin, naturally beautiful, no botox no make up, no wrinkles. She's very beautiful
Imagine....and now at 22 face expression allover
It's an abomination of immense proportions to see an old woman's head ! It's part of her nakedness.
I've a lot of love for Martha who happens to resemble my elder sister who raised me and helped my mom who was in poor health. I respect her choice the service she's giving to the needy, may God bless her with good health and long life to continue with the good work she's doing. Monica I love how you get information from your guests in very respectful manner God bless you.
In her 70's she looks very young and energetic.

Kuliko kusumbuana na Mwanaume
she looks so young and beautiful for a 70 years old, she's aging gracefully
Am so glad she found her peace. Beautiful soul, beautiful woman. Parents alot to learn about passing parental responsibilities to your children
That burden sure
Amazing woman and a mother to many. I look forward to a day where individuals life choices will not be judged by society, religion, political convictions etc but just seen as another way of life. Many think their way ie marriage and kids is the only way other than just one way.
Mumbi is so focused and has no regrets for the chioces she made for her life. l salute you mum.

Auntie Mumbi is beautiful and so complete in Christ we emulate her and respect her alot. God has blessed her with many children . They may not be her biological children but she nurtured them.may God continue to bless Auntie Mumbi.
Thank you for sharing your story Tata Mumbi 🥰 thank you for sacrificing so much and ensuring that everyone in your family was doing well, including my mama, the last born. I love you so much! 💖

Try me tracy and you will never regret, our relationship and marriage will endure forever
You are still young. You can still change your mind and get one child. Motherhood is great.

Very true..
Madam Kagoni, you are a remarkable lady and commend worth in your interviewing ability. Your command of our Kikuyu language is nice to listen to together with your mature approach and attitude of questioning. Thanks.
This is a very strong woman,I like her making a decision without turning back .kudos
The mother's children she raised are literally her children.
Monica you are very professional in question. I admired the way you were digging sensitive information from the old single lady.
Tata mumbi is an encouraging testmonie that each one of us is free to decide on how one wants to shape his or her life.
Make Ur self Happy but not the society
Sure
Life is your choice
Monica you are doing a good work. Highlighting on the issue of firstborns; most of them find themselves taking their parents responsibilities and sio kupenda' ni situation' coz when the parent is away you have to take care of the other siblings. In reality most of them even forget to nurture their relationships due to commitment in family responsibilities na wengi ni kujikuta sio kupenda.
Thanks MK for the show. Keep pushing; and be blessed dia.
My relatives, friends should see these, I'm not even half her age, The pressure I get is in another level

Wow tata Martha, utungata ucio waku Ngai no akauriha. Paul said it is better to be single if you want to serve God but if you can't stay celibate marry. She is a good example of an apostle. Welldone you have a great testimony.
A very responsible and graceful lady. She is one to be admired, a mentor. Marriage is not everything.
Awesome. Such an aspiring story. To give one's life to such a cause is amazing. Tata Mumbi is a beautiful spirit. What a great calling. To serve and to serve the Creator Ngai with the whole heart. Just beautiful. I love it!
Your shows always the strongest to listen and so encouraging Monica... Team kambas we adore you
Look young, she made the best decision.. n caring for the needy, many have died in the name of marriage
Who else agree with me that "age is just a number"she us so cute and strong💪😍
Ageing gracefully like fine wine.Very beautiful lady.
True she's beautiful 💞😍
True she doesn't even look like she's in her 70's ....most of the married women in their 70's are very old.
This woman is beautiful inside out....may God continue to bless her...
A great interview, God bless Sister Martha for her work. My mum's classmate in college
Her humility, devotion to the work of God and dedication to helping the local communities far exceed any inadequacy she may feel for never having been married.

Hallo Monica. Greetings from cairo.i have my neighbor called Teresia. She's in her late 70s now. She used to be a kindergarten teacher back in the 80s..She's lives alone had a son called Tony. Wqy back in the 1970s Teresia was a catholic nun. She left that calling to be a teacher/mother. She is kind hearted heartbroken 💔 but still have the zest to live on her own. I shall ask my sister in law (Mrs Beatrice Tony) to sms you soon son yu can go interview teacher Teresia someday. Thanks
At 70 yrs, she is very beautiful.
Amazing lady with a great vision and applicable advice. Learned a thing or two. Let me just say, when I grow up I want to look and be as principled as tata Mumbi. May God continue blessing her.

I like the confidence she excudes about her decisions in life. God be with her always. Being a first born is torture both mentally n physically.
Monicah...I love this educative ...inspirational talks keep it up.
Madam kagoni , U are humble❤ watching from Beruit.

She is so beautiful and glowing.
God bless you
Hallo I like you
Monica you're very respectful in your approach. That in itself is very encouraging because of your youbg age. Keep it up. 💯 This story explains why many Kikuyu women are left with children by their husbands because of colonialism. Similar to those who were taken into slavery in the Americas. The destruction of the family by detention separation of men from women and children.
May God bless Martha, she's a guardian angel for sure
A very jolly lady, courageous too. We can't judge a book by it's cover.
I am very happy to see this great lady from our gatundu North constituency.. we went to school with her last Born sister..Ngai akurathime Mutungatiri

May God grant you many more years Tata Mumbi, keep up with God work I salute you.
Ati her father's fellow teachers, made sure she continued with her education. WOw!!! What love😍
That's something to take home for sure. Unity of mau mau
most people who were tasked with the burden of taking care of their siblings often end up childfree
I agree-could be the emotional exhaustion and to a certain extent the mind categorizing it as trauma and hence creating a dis-interest.
True
On point
True. I can attest to that. You dont know it affects you till later in life.

At times firstborns have burdens.... that parents and guardians don't know the effects till later on in life ...

I hear Isaiah 54:1b
"You who never bore a child;burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labour, because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband......"you took care of your siblings, the children you taught and the good work you are doing now of taking care of those girls committed to God.press on and God is faithful to reward you.

Being single is you personal choice and don't try to defend it
Why
Ask women don't tresspass......you r in another gender.....you really don't know anything about singlehood....be contented with their answers.....you men...r the cause of it after all......DON'T JUDGE OR TRY TO JUSTIFY
I beg to differ..you dont know nothing about this woman and what she has gone thru..shut up!! Nkt!!
There are men who are also single by choice or otherwise so don't you imagine there's anything special with a single or married person to warrant justification of their circumstances. Just let's live and allow everyone their space without undue hard feelings.
Chege maa'
Wow kagoni the interview was awesome and i have learned something ❤❤keep it up
metha ya Kagoni ingenagia muno Monica 👍🏾👍🏾
She's absolutely beautiful 😍👍
I interesting videos ,it would be lovely if you put subtitles so that others understand
Hii tabia ya firstborns kubebeshwa mizigo ya kulea is unfair. It affects them a lot. I have seen many children doing it especially this covid season. Mtoto amebeba mwenzake kila saa hata hana time ya kucheza
Hahaaa tiga kungenia
Very sad. Poverty is the cause in Africa
True. parents should do birth spacing so that children don't have to take care of other children. Personally i am a victim. I used to carry my younger sister nikiwa class four. Natoka shule, naenda kumchukua from my mum's work station, nambeba na mgongo hadi home which was a long distance. Nikifika kwa hao nimpikie and nifanye everything hadi mum akam home. Things are better now coz am grown up and have my own job but i feel that i was being a parent when i was supposed to be a kid. And for that reason i only want one child.
