Yes it's our family holiday and have never been to st ives before so looking forwards to it. You should take a trip to pecorama as it's a fantastic day with lots to do and lots of good layouts on show as well as a very good shop full of model trains etc which is my kind of heaven plus it's cheap to get in too. Terry.
Excellent footage of them mate! What a sound! Love the shot of them at speed at the end! I would love to got and see her return my way tomorrow (never seen a 37 in action before), but sadly that is the day I have to work! As always the interesting stuff passes midday on Friday! LOL!
Brilliant catch and set of footage Kevin! Certainly well worth getting up early for heh? I could happily watch and listen to that sort of 37 based test train all day and yours has to be some of the best footage I've ever seen of it as well :) - Sim
Hi Sim thanks for that i just wish that last shot was a bit longer it was an awesome thrash, glad i got up a bit earlier than normal thanks for the comments cheers Kevin
Love those sounds the locos make. With that bright light they must have had digital cameras trained on the rails for analysis. Not only were you up early you were also jumping in your car to chase it. Very nice vid.
Hi Rob they sounded awesome ,I think it checks for cracks in the rail but not 100 % sure I filmed it over a couple of hours first clips in Truro yard and then on the Falmouth branch and then going through Chacewater and was going to finish off at Penweathers junction but it must of gone through there early so I missed it cheers Kevin
Great video Kev nice sounds there mate those 37s are still the best diesels ever as for being up at 4 30 mate that's my normal time I'm up for work. Kev
