Use your Dremel to cut the cable next time, and put some super glue on the end to stop fraying. Also heat shrink is not mandatory, and you can always use some electrical tape if it eases your mind to help with it fraying any further. Once nicro pressed it cannot fray pass that point anyways, it can just look messy is all.
Hello Jeremy, thanks for the cable fraying tip. I only added the heat shrink so in the event I find myself sticking my hands somewhere near them I don’t accidentally get a wire under the fingernail! I’ve done that so many times and it hurts. Thanks for writing, I need to get over on the forum and see how your build is coming along. Have a great day, Cheers
Hello @astyriastorm4930, the chops are coming back! The beard was from my last deployment and lack of shaving locations. Thanks for the comments and you have a super day. Matthew
Hello @mikefairbanks, thanks for the pro-tip! I will definitely give that a try in the future as I don’t think it will inhibit any bad characteristics to the cable, just keep things nice and neat. Superglue is beginning to have more uses than just gluing its own cap on after you use it once! Have a great day, Matt

I'm still a fan of the mutton chops you used to sport. But that beard aint bad.

I can confirm that the chops are indeed back. Good luck with the build!
Indeed they are Sir, thanks for the comment & have a stellar day. Matt
To combat cable fraying I wrapped electrical tape where I wanted to cut, then put a drop of super glue on the ends after cutting and removed the tape.
