After months of semi permanent night time cloud finally got some of last problems resolved with new scope and mount. My main viewing position faces north and so looking at some of the star clusters in Cassiopeia, did not expect much of nebulae or galactic as am under bortle 8 sky. Went to M81 and could see the core looked bit like comet core. Impressed looked T m82 and well “wow”., can well understand why you would keep coming back for more!!! Great video thank you
Andromeda is 220k light years in diameter? It used to be considered much more similar in size to the Milky Way. Is it now considered larger than the Pinwheel galaxy? At 175k light years in diameter, the Pinwheel galaxy used to the be considered much larger than Andromeda.
Excellent video, it is very informative and well explained. Thank you!
I was imagining M81 last night and found your video. Great info. Nicely done!🍻
Thanks.
