Blimey this wasn't an easy watch! Absolutely unbelievable and very well done on completing it! Hope you had time to rest up a bit ahead of Malton! Thanks very much it must have been so difficult filming in those conditions!
It was a tough race but I really enjoyed it. It was quite a challenge holding the camera and scrambling over that terrain. Malton was the following day so less than 24hrs rest! 😂😂 Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼
Well done and thanks for sharing the video.. I finished a good hour behind you, way too technical for my trail running legs! You definitely captured the route at its brutal best
That was a brilliant race. I was just infront of you at the start line with the bright green jacket and hat on. What a time you got 💪🏽💪🏽 took me 5:58. Well done 🙌🏽
One of my running colleagues at work told me a while back he was doing this. I checked the results and he finished. We live and train in Oxford so those hills and in that weather is a heck of a thing - really great insight into what it was like. Absolutely love you caught so much of the sound of the wind absolutely hurling.
😂 That was one tough race, my legs are still not friends with me, you’re not on your own with finding this race really hard! Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼
I was interested in your views on the artificial path over the high crag area. Just walking it on a wet day of very slippy and the steps are often very small and hard to walk on so I noticed everyone avoided them. They are too so erosion of the mountain which is significant, but don't really work as they are difficult to use! Wondered what your thoughts were?
Hi, I’m not too sure which section that is but it was all very slippy with the conditions. Some of the descents were safer off the path when tackling at speed but normally I am sure the paths would be the better option.
Yes, it was open to anyone and you didn’t need to do any qualifying races however it was a strong field of runners from around the world. I think this was a one off as it’s usually held in Scotland.

Thanks for the comment. It was certainly a tough race but the camera never does it justice. Well done on completing it. 💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Or maybe 6,000 feet... Good fun!
It ended up being more!😅
Your are in luck you had nice British summer weather. Imagine how tough it would have been with bad weather 😂
😂😂 Brilliant!

Ah, nice one! It was a tough race but thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼
Jolly decent result, and well filmed. Glad I was volunteering, not running! Thanks for the starring role at registration 😊
Ah, fantastic, thank you for volunteering, you all did an amazing job! 👌🏼
Shout out to all the volunteers around the globe 💪🏻
@@GTE_Channel- I couldn’t agree more, they do an amazing job. 👍🏼

Ah great! Cameras never do it justice but hopefully it captures some of the atmosphere and terrain. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼
Looked like a beautiful trail run
It was amazing but would like to do it in clear weather! 😃
Wind was pretty brutal well done 👏
It was a tough day out in the mountains. Well done taking so much video.
Thank you. I did have quite a bit more video footage but I didn’t want to make the video boring! 😂
@@Ted-offroad I think you definitely done it justice. I was about an hour behind you.
Awesome Ted shocking weather conditions scenery epic though mate 😊💪🏻🏃♂️💯.
Thank you, it was quite an adventure! 😅
By gum, tough run; well done 👏 Great video!
It was definitely a challenge! 😃 Thank you. 👍🏼
Great effort Ted that looked very tough well done and thanks.
Thanks Paul, it really was but it wouldn’t feel such an achievement if it was easy! 😃
Great video Ted. Now that did look extreme. Well done. 👍
The terrain & route was tough without the challenging weather too! 🤣 Thank you. 👍🏼
I’ve been looking forward to this video! Well done Ted, very tough course indeed!!!
Thanks David! 👍🏼 I need to watch your recent video, I’ve not had chance yet.
@@Ted-offroad similar weather to what you had in Buttermere 😆
This is a great video Ted! Shame that the event seems to be a one-off. Looks pretty epic!
Thanks Simon. I know, as soon as I read it was a one off event, I knew I had to sign up. It might have to be a trip to Scotland next year!! 😂
@@Ted-offroad That one just scares me!
Great vid! You did it a bit quicker than I did but glad other people found it tough and wasn’t just me being a mard 😂

Is this open to everybody, it looks quite elitist?
