Terrific playing, dear Ben. I have to play "the Creation" next week here in S.Marco Church, Milan, as bass trombone, and this video was really useful to study and gave me a real hint for blending with contrabassoon and low strings in orchestra. Thank you so much, God bless you.
Dank u, Maestro Dijk! It's too bad you couldn't come either to Manhattan School of Music to teach us (because of the orchestra schedule)! Hope you feel better.
Terrific sound Ben. Prayers for your health to improve.

thanks for continuing to post your clips. It's much appreciated.
This is Perfect!!! I'm preparing this for the Music Schools and this definitely is a great example to internalize
Can't stop humming this all day (not a trombonist, so I hope I'll be excused^^).
Sounds great Ben! I still study your book after 15 years :)

Your tone is great! Will you ever be coming to San Antonio?
Que sonido tan limpio wow
Did you really play all the way to the end of the 11th bar without breathing?
There very small sniffs here and there!
Ben van dijk I watched this at .25x speed and I could not find a single sip of air. Idk know how you do it.
THANK YOU!!!!!
is this just the bass trombone part? it sounds very different than the rest of the parts
How big is that room? The reverb is like an orchestra hall!
Haha well the room is as big as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. I'm lucky to have such sized studio at home.
Wow...
