He was bluffing his hand without even knowing it lol. You can’t get a much better bluff play than someone who plays as though they’re holding a straight flush. He won w/ a hand of absolute garbage, lol.

None of these guys notice that Danny and Rusty are playing an old poker hustle where the two players (cooperating) seem to get into an emotional competition, leading other players to bet more and more on the hand, until one of them shows his (unlikely) good hand.

For years every time i watched this clip i always wondered how danny was able to cheat to get such a good hand. But after recently watching a video on how a casino dealer can cheat along with an associate player at the table, it seems pretty obvious to me now that rusty was feeding danny those cards and they were implicitly in on it together without ever speaking about it beforehand; which goes to show just how strong of a partnership they have with each other.
What ever happened to the young stars in this scene? I mean, other than Josh Jackson and Topher Grace. I know Josh is on Fringe now and Topher has been in a few movies. But what about the other three? I haven't seen them in anything recently.

This is from Ocean's Eleven...these scenes is from after Danny gets released from jail in the beginning of the flim and after he talks to Frank and his PO.
No- it's because the color of the cards in poker doesn't matter, at all- so he was just playing some "look I got all the colors to match" game and they were all too ignorant of poker to notice it doesn't mean anything & assumed he won, too. lol

Same. I remember a scene where Frank is telling Danny that Rusty is teaching rich actors how to play poker but I didn’t think they were real actors lol
The only thing I don't get about this scene is why the teen idols are still playing after the whole "Incan matrimonial head masks" story. I mean it's clear now they know each other and both might trick the teens to pull some money out of them. Or was it meant like only Barry got it and that's why he calls a Fold immediately?
To them that's just pocket money. Easy come easy go. They're spoiled, privileged people, too busy to love themselves. They don't realize the evident connection between the two con men. The guy who folds is just insecure. He doesn't suspect anything.
Topher Grace was in That Seventies Show for like ten years playing Eric Forman. Red Forman was played by Kurtwood Smith, who is George Soros. George Soros is Henry Kissinger's son. Odds therefore dictate a high degree of probability that Topher Grace/Peter Sarsgaard/Adam the host from Clackamas Chili's in 2001 is connected to George Soros and Henry Kissinger. Carl Reiner in this movie is Henry Kissinger.

Plot twist - Peter bishop walks away with all the money.
What is song playing while their in club before they enter poker room
"I wanna fold? Is that good?"
Not sure what the ante or first round of betting were, but from the draw on, Danny Ocean walked away $18,000 richer (and $3,000 at least from Rusty).
Or...They both walked away with $9G's and Rusty simply tripled his investment.
