I can't stomach it and i'm not jewish. I'm just british. Don't pay the licence fee and don't answer the door to their goons. Throw their threatening letters into the bin and ignore them. If enough people do it they'll soon go broke.

If you fill in the online form to say you don't watch live TV you don't get letters from them.

Actually, I know a few people who have a VPN just to access BBC content. It’s the UK that isn’t respected. The BBC, and UK arts sector in general, are one the few exports the UK still has.

I watched the BBC almost daily from the Netherlands, bcs it used to be very good. They had great documentaries and series until 2012 or thereabout. I use to watch 1 to 2 hours a day, now only 30 minutes a week, that is how bad it has become.

Let me thank the BBC for ending my love affair with the TV. It broke my addiction, saved me money, got rid of a big lump of plastic and glass in the front room and gave me more time to to other things.

Your panellist says that people listen to the BBC news because they trust it. I force myself to watch the BBC news but only to monitor what they aren't telling us (and what we find elsewhere) and to monitor their disgraceful bias, as during the Brexit period and the 'pandemic', and now their distorted coverage of the Israeli / Hamas war.
