    You are a beautiful soul and soooo helpful. Have a wonderful life.The one I made had a single
    drop of washable permanent fabric glue in each knotted edge, in a hidden area. Not making a
    mess, for dexterity reasons, it's it's not recommended for someone under 12 related to dripping.

    Great project. Just a comment from one teacher to another, instead of saying “yucky edge”, explain to viewers that it is called the selvage and that all fabric has these edges on parallel sides.

      You're right--got to mindfully use academic vocabulary and then get students to practice it. Even after all the mentions of "fleece", for example, I was surprised students still couldn't name the fabric. That's because they'd worked with "fleece" but hadn't done enough talking and writing about it.
