@@blackwyverngamingdamion_4787 It did wonderfully for the entire trip and then I ran into charging issues as soon as I got back to Fairbanks because of the colder temperatures. I realized what I was doing wrong and its now back up and running perfectly fine. The internal heater drains the battery slightly everyday and will still output power even down to -16 so far but it is having difficulty charging enough in my limited driving during the day. I've noticed if I drive to work or drive home though that the battery is now warm enough to charge and so I've been keeping it topped off via shore power through the Manager30 system. I will need to upgrade to the Alpha 100 once I get the second battery installed next spring though because 480AH will be a pita to charge if I'm putting in less than 100A at a time.
@@sandrareel1263 I typically have a few locations along the route that I aim for and then go off of how tired I am as I end the day. Sometimes I shoot for something within an hour of the sun setting and other times I’ll drive a few hours and stop around 10pm or 11. Almost everytime I’ve done some digging before I head somewhere by checking out satellite images on OnX or asking friends if they have recommendations along a specific path.
Awesome views, thanks for sharing!
Appreciate it!

@dogandajeep well at least I'm faster with my likes than my installs 🤣
@dogandajeep how's the new battery treating you?

It is interesting to see what you can do with a Jeep. Do you have pre scheduled places to stay the night?

Dude, I drove up once to AK and I don't want to do it ever again, how do you do it multiple times a year 😂
I love the drive. But I also know its gonna take me minimum 4 days to get anywhere so I just accept it lol
