- We often talk about the hard routes, but it’s not so often that we see what went on inside the climber. The work, the feelings, the motivations, the doubts, the ups and downs-the details that made a difference.
Bibliographie was a good challenge and an important step in my career. The process was not easy, and we have some « behind the send » to tell regarding this route.
In this first episode, we will talk about strategy and how I approached this route. How I prepared myself and how I was training during the process.
Adaptation to the project is the key to succeed.

Pour essayer d'apporter une critique constructive : honnêtement, il faudrait arrêter de faire tes vidéos en anglais.
Entre l'accent et le vocabulaire, c'est trop limité, et quelque soit le spectateur (anglais, ou français) c'est hyper frustrant à écouter.
Je suis sûr que dans ta langue natale tu pourrais ajouter énormément de profondeur à tes propos, quitte à sous-titrer tes vidéos.
Entièrement d’accord et d’ailleurs on le voit très bien dans les vidéos Hidden Gems qui sont beaucoup plus intéressantes à regarder. Je suis bilingue et je confirme que les vidéos où Seb parle en anglais c’est vraiment pas top, effectivement facile à comprendre pour des français mais très basique en anglais et limité dans les propos. Des gens comme Adam Ondra ne se gênent pas pour mettre de longues sections de leurs vidéos où ils parlent dans leur langue natale avec des sous-titres et ça fonctionne très bien. Vive les vidéos de Seb en français !

D’accord aussi, j’adore Seb et je parle anglais couramment, et pour en avoir discuté avec des amis anglais, ils préfèreraient aussi un français sous titré intelligible et plus profond. Mais bravo d’essayer déjà, c’est à son honneur !

Oui ça fait longtemps que j'hésitais à le dire, notamment Mellow font tout en VOST, par ex celle de Simon Lorenzi est super pour ça.
Je me disais que ça devait être un choix conscient et que si ils faisaient ça c'est parce qu'ils "savaient" qu'ils touchaient un public plus large, mais ce n'empêche pas de donner son avis merci
