Very nice Idea, helping people that have the same problem as you I don't even play Melee or have ADHD (at least not daignosed) but I find it really nice that something like this exists Also very nice visuals You're killin it
Got diagnosed waay after my active years, in retrospective the things I struggled with really make sense now. I might would have been a way better player, but I came pretty far anyway and I am proud of that :)
this is really important and extremely helpful content. as fun as this game can be at its peaks I do feel like my fun and my skill is limited because of a fundamental part of myself
Immediate sub. I've hit a brick wall for am embarrassingly long amount of time with all of smash in terms of skill and mu's. Thank you for this insight.
great video! a potential mixup during the marth minigame (if you know they’re nair heavy) is dash in ASDI down/cc shine. it’s a little tricky but you can cc the early hit of nair until a gazillion percent and get a juicer shine off it if they’re drift isn’t amazing. if it is, you can just dash out of town and reset to neutral, or try and push the scrap. full disclosure i play falco so your mileage may vary
So hype for this series, gonna see what other competitive games I can apply this to. It’s one of the big difficulties I have in competition but not at all during friendlies. Something about being in bracket brings out that adhd dog in me
I’d like a video about neutral decision making. Sometimes it feels like I’m just fidgeting around trying to dodge / take up space when I need to be actively adapting, but if the person isn’t giving me clear signals I don’t know how to act
along side with all the other affirming media I've watched this year, I think this is the one that I'm leaning on the most in order to go get diagnosed once and for all lmao
Interesting how ADHD effects everyone differently. I have ADHD myself and it actually makes extreme camping easier for me because I can day dream / zone out when my opponent isn't interacting with me and wait for THEM to get bored.
Interestingly I have ADD and find campier opponents to be not as bad as super aggressive ones. It’s harder for me to focus on what threats are worth concerning myself with one someone mixing waiting/baiting with a good mix of aggro options and my mind gets kinda fried
lfg justus good video
guys is camping ableist?
gonna start using this john at my local
Jigglypuff is the Autism Speaks of Melee

AMAZINNNGGGG video concept !!! This shows the awareness you have with the community and the game! I hope you continue to develop videos like this
The premise does sound dumb but it speaks to my soul, great video

Insanely helpful for me (diagnosed last year). How can I implement this against characters like Samus or Falco?
