that motorbike track I was talking about I can’t send a picture to show you, but what you do you take your ball off fix his plate to the other side of the bowl put the ball back on and it has two parts coming out which you clip both one side, and then the other side to take the bike and then you can take it out and just leave it in the boot
You need to put the front skewer in the opposite way, so the clamp is on the opposite side to the brake disk. This saves the skewer clamp accidentally conflicting with the disk & the obvious consequences that may cause 😬
@@HermanHitstheRoad it is a Vac that boat to your Towbar, then you put the bars in to hold the motorbike the wheels fit in the frame. If you go online and put in motorbike rack for back of vehicle, it will show you what they are there is different ones and different sizes.
Hi Ad's another great video blog👏 I have Ribble lec Hybrid bike which weighs only 15kg on same Thule bike rack ..love it ....do you mind telling me how you edit your great vids what software as I would like to put together some stuff.. cheers PS when's Herman touring again ?
Good video. There are bike racks from Fiamma that are 'ebike compatible' and up to 60kg. I still don't think those fat tyres would fit in the rails. There may be some adapters for the fat tyres, but I can't find them yet.
7:39 weighing Rather than balancing it upright and trying to read the scales,,, You can also weigh -front wheel -rear wheel and add the two together. ;)
Once again a truly informative vlog congratulations. If I may make a comment on bike carriers that attaches to a tow ball there is another similar device that fits a tow bar and is made by Witter. One that has served us well for many years. it attaches to the tow bar and not the tow ball. and packs down and is very easy to store, the other advantage that if needed you can still attach a trailer etc at the same time regards. ps hope Herman feels better soon.
Lovely bike to look at but too cumbersome to take in a van, if you’re going that size in my opinion you can get a 50cc scooter. Definitely a towbar mount bike rack required I think. I’d love one for work but not in the van.
Sorry Ads but Heike has just had a break down and can’t stop laughing at your pronunciation of Brake Disk Protection ( Bremsscheibenschutz ) but she thought you sounded cute 😂 The bike is quite heavy for an E-bike. Btw any news on Herman?

I think that's just confused me even more, Terry. Sorry 🤔

By "skewer" do you mean the front wheel quick release, Clive? I might take a look later. Thanks
You can actually get motorbike brackets that hold it justice just the same fits on Towbar I have one on my car
How do you mean, Terry. Could you post a link or something, please?

Great video. Looking forward to seeing the full review. Hopefully everything is going well with Herman now. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Sylvia. They haven't started on Herman yet 😩

Thanks webgibs. Herman will be touring again when we get him back.
I use iMovie on the Macbook to edit my videos.
Don't forget, the rack is only as good as the back of the motorhome. Is it the fixings to the motorhome that give way and let go or the rack itself?
Good point, Derek. I wonder that as well.
£1700 spent and you still get cold and wet! Good review though, I enjoyed it, nicely filmed too. Good Luck with Herman.
Thanks Sleepy Cat. I'm glad you enjoyed the video 👍👍
Hi Adz..How have you got on with your Switche bikes?..we decided to buy ebikes rather than wait six months for the kit. Have fun reviewing the bike.
We have the Dillinger kits, not the Swych kits, Andrew. They are fine. We still have them and they're great
Just wish they were a bit lighter. Strange how your scales say 30kg when the bike is 27kg officially
Yeah, somewhat heavy but they should be expected with 4 inch fat wheels, @techtitanuk5609

Thanks Bob. I was unaware of that. Still a bit heavy to lift though I think
Hi Ads it's Richard great to meet you today. I have a towbar rack designed for ebikes if you would like to borrow before you invest. Great video.
Thanks Richard 👍. That's very kind to offer
id love one of those but like you said not suitable for MHs
Thanks for commenting, Suzie. I think it'll be fine if your motorhome had a large garage.
It would definitely be too chunky to go on the bike rack on Madge but it looked like a great bit of kit. Hope Herman is fixed soon. Take care Gill
Thanks Gill, so do we.
Isn't there a fancy rack that levers down to floor leve?
Maybe it's for scooters or motorbikes?
Maybe it's very expensive.;)
That'll be a great idea, Rich. Please share the name or a link if you have one 👍👍

You can also weigh
-front wheel
-rear wheel
and add the two together.
;)
Yes, I could have done that, Rich

Thanks Dave. I've had a look but I can only see tow ball racks by Witter. Do you have a link that you could send me, please?

@@HermanHitstheRoad as always informative and entertaining sir!
Interesting review. We went with Mi Riders that fit in the boot. About 17.5kg each I think. Interested to know what the range is
Between 30 and 60kms I think, May but that is very vague
Really well done great review mate.
Beauty 👍
Chas.
Thanks Chas 👍👍

Haha thanks Paul and sorry Heike for my *cough* German. 🤣🤣
Nice one, having seen it in the flesh I though it was quite a nice bit of kit. In fact I thought it was wheely good 👍
🤣 thanks for that, Alex 👍👍
I never read the instructions. They just complicate matters.😜
🤣🤣
I find that instructions take out the guess work and assumptions, Tony. They also tell you things that don't know I find.
Did u buy from uk shop?
No, I didn't. They sent to me.
🤣🤣🤣 with your track record with keys and bicycles you’d be better off leaving the keys attached to the frame. 🤣🤣🤣
Haha 😄. Thanks for that, Johnny 🤣👍
Sorry but have to say how white are your legs 😂
Zoë calls them chicken legs, Drexel Spivey but thanks for pointing them out.
Scottish tan that 🤣😂
Haha. Thanks Clive 🤣
