@2,50 buddy the van which you hit was in the roundabout before you !
And he could have stopped in time, but no, go for the horn and plow straight ahead
Yeah great self own by the DC driver.
Always give way to vehicles within the round about, doesn't matter if they're infront or to your right.
I don't think he was, you can just see the dotted line ahead of the van when the DC car appears to cross his, but it's close. Regardless, the DC driver is in the wrong, he drives straight into the tail end of the van.
The previous video of the DC driver shows he's an entitled prick.
Yep. DC is a twit. At fault, plenty of chance to stop. Then dopey enough to publish the evidence.
2:30 Is the cam drive not the one in the wrong here? I mean they both crossed the line at the same time, the Van was on the round about, (his back wheels had clearly crossed the line) before the cam driver got to him. Just because the van was moving slower and the cam driver was coming through at speed, shouldn't he have slowed down to avoid hitting the van?
@@FredLing-kr9jx Give Way To Traffic That Is On The Roundabout
@@FredLing-kr9jx The legislation states that a driver should give way to vehicles already in the roundabout. The van entered the roundabout first therefore the dash-cammer was in the wrong.
It’s line ball who entered the roundabout first - but one thing is certain…cam driver’s a complete fuckstick who’d prefer to have his car off the road for a few weeks rather than just avoid the collision. Falcon driver, so not that hard to believe I guess! I mean the very next clip shows how easy it is to avoid the accident
That was a petty attempt to do a insurance fraud.. Lets just keep the speed honk a little and smash into tha van... A cammer with a brain but its empty up there
Also you are generally obligated to try and avoid a collision, which the DC seems to not do
2:23 wow that is some terrible driving by the dash cam
i'd really like to hear his excuse for that one, "you p'd me off by not following the road rules, so i ran into you to teach you a lesson"
Yep. Who’s the muppet not slowing down to give way at a roundabout
@@rl8631 what rules did the van not follow? he was in the roundabout first, the dashcam car is the one who didn't follow the rules, as they did not give way to traffic already in the roundabout, then had the gall to beep and run into the one who did nothing wrong.
Hahah 4:15 cracked me up. New small buses on their P's 🤣🤣🤣
2:30 What does DC think the problem is? If anything they caused the crash.
Exactly.
i thought the same thing, there is literally a give way sign with the circle in it representing the roundabout and neither of them slowed down when they entered the roundabout, weetbix box license.
Too busy blowing the horn to think about avoiding accident
exactly! what a dropkick. I want to know what the insurance company said
The van didn't give way to the right especially matters on a roundabout. But cammer is a knob easily avoided accident
6:44 Coles driver scared the shit out of cammer's horn so much it changed pitch.🤣
I worked as a driver for Coles in one of those little vans for some years (pulled out in 2020). I have waited patiently to see one in one of these types of videos since the first week I started. I have been rewarded with an awesome one. Those vans are fitted with multiple cameras and inertia devices, as well as blindspot mirrors etc. Methinks someone was watching his/her GPS instead of actually driving.
I think those guys have a hard time sometimes (especially delivering in the rain). I've had my Coles groceries delivered a few times. One time recently the guy was really struggling to find the place and was running at least an hour late. He ended up calling me to ask directions to my unit .
"(pulled out in 2020)"
That's what he said.😏
I see you have the special new busses over there too (@4.00)--- I see them everyday stopped in a bus only area waiting for school too finish
2:56 Ah, yes. The muppet who was speeding in the back streets of Brisbane and purposely hit the van because "I had right of way!" There is a law in Queensland that states a driver must take all reasonable actions to avoid a crash. Having 'Right of Way' doesn't absolve you of negligent driving.
Correct. And, the give way rule on roundabouts in Qld is that you are required to give way to all traffic already on the roundabout, so if the van was on the roundabout first but just moving more slowly, the cam car was in the wrong anyway.
He didn't have right of way anyway. the rule is give way to anyone already on the round about. The van was clearly already on the round about, so he has to give way to it. The poor van had a bus Infront of him and was making a right turn, of course he was going to be moving slower.
I don't even think he had right of way as it states that you must give way to vehicles already on the roundabout. I think the van got on first. He just kept going, blasted his horn then finally applied the brakes before crashing. Got to remember parallax error (i.e. Looks like you've passed the line when you haven't yet due to the bonnet)
I suppose if they wanted to try to be stupid like that in the future, they could always mount a dashcam on their front bumper aiming down trying to prove they crossed the line first b
I laugh when Australian drivers talk about "right of way". No state or territory has any "right of way" laws so no one has any right of way. All the rules are about when you have to give way and allow the other person/animal/object to proceed. Speeding throu a roundabout does not give right of way.
Rule is give way to the right no one slows down and gives way at roundabouts they speed up like they Jumpin train tracks before the train
1:49 you need to enter the intersection when it turns green, then complete the turn once the pedestrians are out of your way. No wonder the guy behind you was tooting
11:41 man..that looks amazing. that view 😨
Good old Toowoomba drivers have no idea how to turn the corner at Bunnings
Aint that the truth!
Good old Toowoomba drivers have no idea period
1:27 I bet I know where she was looking. Lutwyche rd Windsor by the looks of it.
2:35 Brakes first, horn second. Crashing just means more paperwork.
3:35 Wooloongabba / East Brisbane. Lots of one way streets there.
4:10 I see plenty of those smaller buses (especially when I was driving an actual bus). I'd pull up behind them at a bus jump zone, the light for the bus would go green (Ann & James street Fortitude valley / Coopers camp road cnr Jubilee tce Bardon) and they wouldn't go. This meant when they finally went when the non bus light went green I'd be stuck back there fighting to get across .
5:52 *shakes head in disbelief*
6:20 No doubt the blue car ran a red light but.... (Quote from QLD gov transport road rules * Not sure about other states or where this was filmed)
To safely make a U-turn, you must:
have a clear view of approaching traffic
complete the turn without blocking the free movement of traffic
give way to all vehicles and pedestrians.
* Take note of the "Give way to all vehicles and pedestrians"
8:28 Stones corner QLD where everyones stoned. Not surprised by that pedestrian.
9:06 LOL
11:35 Can see how that happened. SUV was blocking his/her/its view. I'd just stop and not even post this myself.
6:26 so what you're saying is it's ok to run a red light because drivers performing u turns on a green light with a "u turn permitted" sign still have to wait for you?
@@traj7196 Why do you always reply with stupid questions / answers ? I've noticed you doing this a few times. I assume you're just a troll.
Of course I'm not saying it is ok to run a red light (without a good reason - i.e. police officer tells you to, red light is broken (although that can get you a ticket), if your life is in danger (i.e. some crazy trying to smash your car window (yeah, it's happened).
Let me ask you this.. DO you think it is ok to make a right turn across someones path if they are continuing straight (especially if you can see they are not stopping for a red light) ? It is common sense to avoid an accident and make sure it is clear to go. In fact, with the u-turn ; it is law to give way to all other vehicles. I've avoided thousands of accidents in my lifetime . I could have easily just crashed into them and gone, "Well you were in the wrong and I was right so I'm crashing into you to prove a point".
Instead I avoid the accident if I can and take care at the intersection regardless of who is in "the right". A green light means, "Go if safe to go". It doesn't mean "Just go - Crash into whoever you want because you have a green light".
Feel free to google "u-turn qld road rules" and click on the site which starts with qld gov au transport (or similar). They've even got a video there if you struggle to understand or can't read too well.
@@traj7196 HELL NO! The blue Hyundai (Muppet "driving") started moving (running the red light) AFTER the white Toyota started turning, with a green arrow.
@@roadmonitoroz that I turn rule probably isn’t referring to traffic light u turns. You’re essentially blaming all victims of red light runners because obviously this cammer didn’t see the person running the red light until the last second and stopped in time.
Also it should be noted the blue car was stationary at the lights and the cammer had already passed the stop line and commenced the turn before blue car decided to wake up and believe they had a green and ran the red.
Love the commentary
At 2.36 the van didn't need to give way as the car was not at roundabout yet and the car could off slowed to not hit the van.
It was an easy unavoidable accident. What is embarrassing is the idiot not only sends in his own accident but clearly, he is at fault cause he didn't slow when approaching the roundabout.
2:38 If it's a small roundabout like the one in the video, I always give way not just to vehicles on the roundabout but any vehicle coming from the right. You have to give vehicles room to break. One or two car lengths is not enough room, I wonder if that van would've pulled in front of a truck knowing they could not break in time. Do not pull out in front of someone if they don't have room to break in time.
well said 👏
If they can't brake in time they're approaching the roundabout too fast.
Break: separate or cause to separate into pieces as a result of a blow, shock, or strain.
Brake: 1. A device for slowing or stopping a moving vehicle, typically by applying pressure to the wheels.
2. Make a moving vehicle slow down or stop by using a brake.
10:15 when the battery range is only half a round trip
He's a real twofer!
At the roundabout:
"You need to give way to the right."
"No, your other right..."
you don't need to give way to your right at a roundabout, only to traffic already on the roundabout, which means the dashcam car was in the wrong.
QLD road rules don't say explicitly not to give way to your right at a roundabout (but they don't tell you to do it, either) but TAS road rules give you the reason why you shouldn't do it, as they say that you should not give way to your right at a roundabout because it will impede the flow of traffic, you only give way to traffic already on the roundabout.
8:32 what a peanut. Driving at a pedestrian for being slightly inconvenienced
7:00 video was strategically cut off before that lady said the word “Asian” 😂
5:55 its amazing how many numpties lose the ability to brake after a minor collision
2:38 no way he couldn't of had time to stop.... bad driving from both ends there
Van was on the roundabout first, he had right of way.
5:15 You'd think he would know better at that age. What's wrong with using the crossing? It's less than 10 metres away. Is life too short to walk that far?
8:06 Is that one of those new triangular roundabouts in WA I've been hearing about?
10:12 He carries his own spare. Saves waiting to charge his first. One for each way? 🤣🤣
10:39 Out of blinker fluid? Or fingers too short?
2:38 secs I thought the point was already made with the horn, didn't need to hit them. Brakes are better than horns for avoiding collisions! 4:54 secs is that an 80 zone?
12:45 - all too common with dual cabs.
That truck driver in the 7:30 mark did absolutely nothing that made the situation safer for anyone.
A cautious driver that is doing a 70km merge onto a freeway will not accelerate to enter he will slow down, and you pushing, shoving and bullying him into speeding up would have just run up the back of him.
Yep, couldn't agree more. The way he was carrying on makes me think he is he type to jump out and want to fight people on the road. He is the definitely the muppet, not everyone else.
At 8.33 yes the pedestrian crossed too late but the DC driver should’ve stayed stopped until the pedestrian was off the road, not just take off when the lights turned green when they clearly seen the pedestrian running across the road. Luckily the pedestrian wasn’t hit because boy it was a close one. DC driver was in the wrong.
Yeah that was fkd, when fktards in cars rush me on a crossing I go slower, I hate them so much, like I'm literally taking 30 seconds to cross the road, unless you're a fking ambulance hold on you absolute tool.
hi mate 2.38 claiming right of way and slowing down to a stop in the round about would have been a better option
4:38 ❤ it
Vic aus .shopping centre t intersection, 1oo percent clear vision all around, failed to give way and t boned expensive vehicle with her expensive vehicle. Extensive damage to both vehicles and both drivers were related in colour 😮.
02:35 Ok, the van was in the wrong but how come you didn't seem to notice it until you were almost on top of it? It's called 'defensive driving'.
Exactly
Actually the van was in the roundabout before the DC driver entered
And then he saw it but didn’t make much of an attempt to stop
Hmm
@@dononthetube2 this. Van entered first. DC failed to give way.
Van driver had right of way. He entered first.
7.00 I bet he’s……….. 😂 we know
and bike rider's wonder why they have a half a car stuck in the the rear wheel
that Toowoomba intersection is fucked! i avoid it because every time i go through it that happens people don't stay in their own lane!
Keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍👍👍
how do these red light runners not get scared or shocked when they realise it?
Maybe they wear blinkers... the type used on horses, to avoid spooking. Could explain the "fearless" attitude.
Bloody Cyclist !!! 🤣LOL
2:24 anyone know what the song playing in the background is?
Vad hande med dem - Brian Jonestown massacre
Need National driver training for roundabouts!
@1:02 was that a guy pissing in the corner behind the guys who were lifting those window wipers up?
oh yeah
2:30 dash cam driver in the wrong!
Should have shared my First Car Accident sooner
Please do we are waiting ....!
The dude drunkenly lifting up wipers is the kind to let down your tyres too or scratch 5 or six cars in row. He thinks he's funny.
And are we going to ignore the dude peeing in the corner?
and his friends would fight anyone who tried to get him away from their car, not actually take some responsibility and stop him in the first place. its how you end up with those 1 punch murder cases pretty much
@@Woodcademy when you need to go, you need to go, it's only piss, it will be washed away next time it rains, or more likely evaporate in the sun.
Request here. Does anyone know how to convert Dash cam from a blackview for editing or to post. For some reason their footage is horrible to deal with. Ill be geting rid of mine asap
I can't believe that motor bike riders drive the way they do, having seen on video, or experienced for themselves, the lunatics who appear to occupy the roads of Australia. It's almost as bad as here in the UK!
6:08 That's where I live, Rothwell. I know that car. They run red lights often. They're complete fuckwits.
The guy at 2.50 was the bloody muppet
The previous video of the DC driver shows he's an entitled prick.
2:09 “Tesla driver”
LOL what does that have to do with the situation?
nothing, but people like to pigeon-hole and label others when they have a grudge. Tesla driver just wanted a bit of room to get around him
@@ThomasThorr Tesla driver (who was actually an uber driver) came up from way behind when the dashcam vehicle was already stationary there for a good 5 seconds. I saw the entire clip. It appears afterwards when the dashcam driver started moving that the passenger in the uber noticed why the dashcam driver was actually sitting there and pointed it out to the driver (benefits of seeing the whole clip unedited)
@@ThomasThorr To be fair..Tesla drivers are tossers because they own/bought Telslas from the biggest tosser of all, musk. The magical green vehicles are awesome for the planet as they dont use any oil and dont produce any emissions because they are magically powered by electricity and electricity isnt created at all by anything that produces carbon dioxide such as coal or gas..
The cars themselves are not made out of huge amounts of copper that is mined in an incredibly bad for the environmental way or lithium, which is also a mineral that is mined in a catastrophic way and the batteries are completeley recyclable..except for when they are not and leach toxic materiel into the ground.
That said..the DC driver was a dick, thats not how you turn left, you move out into the intersection, you dont simply wait for pedestrians to cross as he did, blocking the lane behind him.
@@roadmonitoroz not saying the Tesla driver wasn't doing anything wrong, I'm simply saying (and so is OP) that the fact he drives a Tesla has nothing to do with the way that guy was driving. However, people like to pick out an easy label for others they don't already like regardless of if it's relevant to what happened.
sDC owners are causing problems
I'm getting kinda sick of those who just buy a dashcame and stick it on, no adjustment, no seeing if it's focussed, just stick it on and go. I'm talking to you guys with the dash perfect in focus and can't see 10f in front of you.
Since when do you adjust a dashcam? You have obviously never owned one because you do just stick it on and plug it in! No adjustments on the lens its not a dslr camera
@@stuartmoss2698 Explain then why some footage is focused on the damn dash and not on the road, it's because a moron like you just stuck it in and didn't check a goddamn thing. Idiot.
@@dallasgrant yep I'm a certified idiot!
@@stuartmoss2698 That's a sad admission! Someone may take that literally! 🤣🤣
you really cant expect too much from a man with his hair in a bun, can you? but i'll say it again, nobody gives a s--t these days, everyone is so "me me me" focused. its enough to take the bus, but i cant prevent myself from getting whiplash due to all the selfish muppets on the road and some crap bus drivers.
"It's all about me, me, me... That's enough about me. What do you think about me?" 🤣🤣
So the guy with the dashcam @6:20 circled the NO U TURN, which I thought was for the first car doing it illegally and then HE DOESTTTTTTT IT himself like WTF man, thats beyond STUPID as fuckkkkkkk
Says U turn permitted
Sorry Dan- own goal there mate. Zoom in- it’s a “U turn Permitted” sign
The sign actually says "U-Turn Permitted", showing the DC and car were legally allowed. Also, you will notice they had a green arrow meaning the other car drove through a red light.
Please book an appointment to Specsavers and ask someone who can interpret to you what that sign means...
Dash cams Australia made that edit not the cammer. It’s green arrow, U turns permitted.
At 2:37 guy caused the accident.. and can was in roundabout first..
Some of these women need to go to finishing school. Bogan central.
Or, have they already finished? Finished up being being bogans. 🤣
I'm soo bored with this channel. I've been driving like a maniac for decades, and not one piece of footage of my driving. Come on guys you can do better than that..
😆
There's just too much competition. Time to stick out more, like driving backwards while wearing a blindfold - that is not seen too many times on aussie-asylum roads.
You're not trying bad enough? 🤣
we don't see enough biffo. Maybe get out of your car and have a punch up with another driver? 🤷♂😉😂
2:27 slowing it down it looks like van entered the roundabout first so DC driver is at fault. But even if the DC driver did enter first, WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE NOT SLOW DOWN WHEN ENTERING A ROUNDABOUT? It's common sense to slow down when entering so if anyone does cut through, YOU WON'T SMASH INTO THEM.
Lots of " special " drivers again...
