- in this video we will go over the device and all its features and show some gameplay as well. It retails for only $160 USD and is a great retro handheld emulation console.
Also I know the video footage is not as clear and nice as my last two videos im still learning this whole youtube thing but I welcome any feedback in the comment section below.

Keep going!!!!! We want to see more on this device
Thank you !!! The next video is going to be opening it up to look at the thumb sticks and possibly swapping them into older anbernic devices
Your microphone sounds perfect. Commentary also professional level, but I think you already knew that. (Can't wait for my 406 to arrive)
@@chimrichalds81 thank you for the kind words I’ll always work on improving where I can !
Never apologize, excellent insight into Ambernic’s latest, done so in insightful and entertaining way;kudos for throwing ‘I hate Onions Russ’ some retro handheld gaming hobby & industry wide respect too! I’ll sub for that YT professionalism.
Believe it or not most people in the retro handheld community are very friendly to one another but thank you !!!
Hey! This is a really great video! I’m a huge fan of Anbernic devices. Did you have a previous channel or something? How did you get on Anbernic’s list for reviews? Cheers!
@@NeiltendoPower yeah Im new to UA-cam but I’ve been making videos for other platforms for a while and have had a great connection to anbernic for a few years! I’m excited to start the UA-cam journey thank you for the kind words !
Curious to know which color you will like better , the grey or off white one. Great review and video quality by the way , your channel will get big soon.
@@Phoenix_VanDerWeyden that’s so kind to say!!! I already know I love the gray more I thought the white would be off white but it’s more yellow white which I don’t love
Very nice video, thank you!
Awesome
🔥
New week new Anbernic device. I wonder what they will release next week.
Subbed. Waiting on the Analog Sticks disassembly video :)
@@RetroMannGaming as soon as my second one shows up !
Same here I'd like to know if those sticks work in the RG556 since mine i's sitting on a shelf. Hey if it's easy enough see if the RGB lights can be swapped in the RG556 as well
I actually would like to know if these will work in a real Switch. My Switch Lite feels really crappy without some high caps. These new analogs look super nice and have a lot of travel, but are minimal in size making them the perfect handheld sticks. Sadly the ones in the RP4 are way too custom to use anywhere else.
@@RetroMannGaming for the switch look into the hori split pads I have a few pair they new ones are slimmer and really comfortable but have great thumb sticks
@@Toddtalkstech1 I actually have a third party alternative for my Switch, but having these sticks in a Switch Lite would be amazing.
Esy has plenty of those caps for the Odin 2, RP 4, 2S. They are all compatible with this device since they are all the same.
@@jakesmith5278 yeah I planned on waiting til my gray 406v shows up to pick some up
Great Video, thumbnail still says 405v though by the way
Oh my lol
@@tadpole1225 fixed it already you’re an amazing human I look at this device and my mind is so used to the 405v lol
Just waiting for my device I actually got up at 6 to order it, went back on later in the day and it was still available lol
@@wesm.2133 which color did you get
What's your opinion about the shoulder buttons? On the RG405V they were too easy to press, very annoying.
Just ordered one.
@@adamandlorraine which color did you get ?
How is the comfort playing 1++ hours using the analog sticks? I wonder.
I’m disappointed we can’t use display output to tv for co-op and charge at the same time. Is there some solution for this like a dock maybe? Otherwise this device would be perfect imo.
@@Wavetheory85 no I don’t think the motherboard supports going that so no accessories are gonna change that and comfort isn’t bad I played a lot of SSX tricky last night lol
@@Toddtalkstech1 okay, thanks. This device is the one I really want, just wish it could charge and play on tv. I guess I’ll end up with at least 3 devices. I just started with Miyoo mini+ trying to hold off until holiday season.
Yo, I'm new to emulators, and I know nothing about how to use them is there a product you would recommend ?
@@namechanged3044 do you mind telling me what systems you think you will be playing most
@Toddtalkstech1 I'm not entirely sure, I know I would like to play things like Kirby, Sonic, and Mario. Just thing like that
Compare screen at max brightness to the 405v
@@allen0088 my 405v is running gamma os so I don’t know if it would be a fair comparison but I can tell you that without a doubt the 406v screen is better
SA2 GameCube work?
sonic adventure 2 ? yes
