    Does the shoe horn always have to touch because when I touch the back of the quick release it activates the horn.

      @Duwop77  Рік тому

      Sorry, just seeing your message. Yes, the shoe horn always has to touch. Something must be incorrect thats activating the horn.

    Very entertain video 👍 good stuff!
    Just incase you didn’t know why the horn didn’t work at the end until you put the horn in, was because that yellow cable closed the circuit when making contact with the metal material inside the hub.
    So when you tap the horn it allows the power to flow through and make the horn sound.
    So while the button is off the steering wheel the yellow cable isn’t making contact with the metal inside the hub.
    Not the most reliable but definitely works!!
    Thanks for the video brother 👌

    I’m having trouble finding the horn harness. Do you have any tips on finding it

    • @Duwop77
      @Duwop77  2 роки тому

      Is it the same type of vehicle? If so the horn harness is actually the SRS harness for the airbag system. Its all integrated. Also wrapped in yellow covering.

    I took the wire that I used to tap into the horn wire, and put it to my makeshift shoe horn, and the horn sounded. Without me even having the horn button in or anything. Whenever I touch the wire to any metal, it sounds the horn and I don’t think that’s right. What do I do?

    • @michaelfrantz7892
      @michaelfrantz7892 3 роки тому

      I think it’s because my makeshift shoe horn is touching the metal on the back of the hub so it’s grounding the horn wire, but idk how to make it stop

    • @Duwop77
      @Duwop77  3 роки тому

      The makeshift shoe horn has to touch the bronze colored section of the hub on the back only. If it touch any other metal surface the horn will sound. If you need further assistance contact me on Instagram I'll try and talk you through it.

      for the brass part to touch the back of the hub, mine also didnt come with one :(

    • @Duwop77
      @Duwop77  3 роки тому +1

      I don't know the actual size. But it's the standard philip scew that you would find holding some of the interior parts on a Honda. The part that you will screw into is plastic so it doesn't have to be exact but close enough to where it doesn't crack.

    What kind of steering wheel is that

    • @Duwop77
      @Duwop77  3 роки тому

      Its GT Grant. Usually you can find them at autozone or oreillys. It's old school. I haven't seen anyone else using them lately. Thanks for watching 👍

    How you make the horn button to stay in position with out the cover?
