The hardest person to fight for me was unsurprisingly Diaochan because of the emotional damage. Excellent video owl! Super appreciate the time it must have taken.
@ Doing it on a fresh playthrough when you encounter him on normal is basically impossible. I'm not super great at this game but I'm fairly good, and I was only able to take off like 30% of his health bar before time ran out. You just don't do enough damage or have enough tools the first time around. I think part of the issue is how early the encounter happens. The numbers just aren't there.
Anyone trying to get Red Hare: Your health regenerates back to yellow after cowering on your horse in loops around the arena. If you’re level 80ish with the Chimera Shell you can afford about one to two mistakes at lowest yellow HP. Unless it’s the grab, that’s a K.O. Happy hunting!
Also, an even better tip: Max out your ascendance gem and it becomes vastly more doable. Absolute gamechanger. 70% autoblock is insane. Oh, and Halberd with Sky Blaze is incredible for him. Sky Blaze dodges half his attacks and crushes Wushu shields super fast, and if you have the Disc of Huanglong from Dream Battle (complete all standard routes at least once to unlock it I think? Or it's based on max peace in enough regions) it's insanely cheap for the damage and wushu damage. Plus you get the Lu Bu Mode attacks in War God Rage, which helps break his final rage meter or heal you midfight.
Just wanted to say I appreciate the content and I always value your opinion on all things related to Dynasty Warriors. Happy to see the franchise get a bit of resurgence and attention as of late.
Fighting bailuan and his shadow clones while hoping sun Quan doesn't die or I run out of time was soooo tilting. I had to re path so many times for which enemies to kill and which ones to leave behind for zhou tai and sun Quan before going for bailuan.
This was kinda easy. The timer starts only after sun ce captures the base to the left so capture the 2 middle bases and defeat the officers charging at sun quan first then as soon as sun ce captures the base go straight to the cave. You can ignore the shadow warriors at the southwest
You get juggled by all the commanders Bailuan summons, and I feel it's not a basic timer, rather dealing consistent damage makes him stick around, so if you get comboed it gives him enough of an opportunity to dip almost immediately.
Liu Bei doing Tornado Dance constantly in duels is hilarious. I call him the Beiblade for that reason. Not as bad as him oneshotting you with a mere swallow slash in UW though. Single hits that instagib your duel bar are the absolute worst after juggle 100-0s.
Wheels were always an absolute nightmare to get used to, spent so long trying to get predictions right. Shangxiang was a nightmare once I hit Ultimate Warrior
One thing was left open to dw origins that they never answered and I couldnt find any answer on the internet. Is it possible that bai luan could match lubu on 1v1? what do you think?
As soon as I completed my first play through I went straight for him at hualo gate to get his halberd and I’ve only just now beat the boss fight for his horse now I can finally start doing the story with another faction 🤣
bailuan when i saving sun ce took me like 2 hours because time limit + friend dying + he summon bunch ton of officer i even use panacea in my first playthrough in hero haha.
Wheels are hard for me too. The windup is slow, but they come out super fast. You either have to completely memorize the different windup animations, gamble, or just block.
What is a good setup or tips for that Guan Yu challenge? I can't beat him fast enough before Cao Cao dies. He is blocking the 1 G8 weapon i don't have.
@TheNightowlGaming i did it last night. Spear, Lion Fang & Tiger Fang (10% version) I went straight to him and melted him with just enough time to get to Cao Cao. Guan Yu is an easy fight. It is very easy to dodge & wreck him. Especially with that amazing Spear B.A. I was level 90 when I finally beat him. Thank you though.
It took me soo long to beat Lu Bu on the hardest difficulty, the only way I managed was by waiting until he was in a fight with Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, and Guan Yu. Then using tactical moves with my guards but even that made getting Rampaging Luan a nightmare.
@@FelisImpurrator Thanks, that is a brilliant move. I'm still working on unlocking the last bits of tactics, my thing says I'm missing three. Curious about what they might end up being.
Hey Nightowl! Could you please try to make a top 5 weapons for future DLC? (a.k.a. which ones from this list will improve variety and weapon diversity of the game? ) I have few remarks - I think each of the weapons should and keep the unique playstyle aspect that each weapon currently has in Origins. They all play differently and have their own pros & cons. Here are few Ideas I have: 1 = [Bow & Arrow] - should be similar to the way (Horizon Forbidden West) did - basically mashing squares allows you to use it as a melee - swinging it around, but when you press for example R1 - You can aim with it and this opens up another possible move-set. 2 = [Chain & Sickle] and (Axe) - These weapons' move-sets also could be inspired by both Kratos' Blades of Chaos and Leviathan's Axe from (God of War Ragnarok). So the Axe could return after throwing it, etc. Also, Runic Attacks could be treated as Skill Attacks in this game. 3 = [Twin Swords] - These could be inspired by (Phantom Blade Zero)'s latest gameplay trailer. 4 = [Great Sword] - inspired by Guts from (Berserk and the Band of the Hawk) game. 5 = [Curved Sword] - Inspired by (Sekiro) - especially with the parrying aspect.
Assault on Xiapi Guan Yu for Conquering Luan is the single most difficult enemy in the game in my experience. Harder even than ol' Louie Bu in his solo bossfight. Partly the time limit (I beat him by nailing him with the tail end of a War God musou while he was a few seconds away from the castle gate, absolutely insane task and I was level capped with Rampaging Luan and a max Vortex Gem) and partly just the fact that he soaks so much damage. Less predictable than Lu Bu and has one attack that comes out almost instantly.
The hardest for me is any enemy with the damn wheels.....just can't find the timing (always) for parry. My list ain't that much different, but jia is also a pain cuz of the damn wheels. Good video 👍
For me is Guan yu, whereby need to bring him down before he return to Xiapi. Oh man he is so tanky on that mission, furthermore you need to fight him twice
My only pet peeve with lu bu is. I wish that he held his hellbird in the middle and not at the far end. And the same for the protagonist in this game. when he uses his weapon.
@TheNightowlGaming I highly doubt that they care but that. I wish with an update they can fix that. Lu bu also holds his Hilbert like that in Dynasty Warriors 9 as well.
@@wizzy_tekken idk... i mean i can you expect some1 to have max reach by holding it in the middle. besides hes the strongest so him swinging a god knows the weight halbert at 100mph at the end of the shaft seem accurate to me. the protagonist yes hold in the middle but lu bu...no
@@ericbelonga7795 it just looks weird and again it's just a pet peeve. An the movement animation just looks funny. Compared to lu bu 7&8 movement animation. where in those games he held it in the middle.
Its understandable why he would be underated... but fighting Yuan Shu on Ultimate Difficulty with his Emperors Blessing grand tactic..... that is just absurd. Constantly reforming his Large Army, your allies barely hanging into the fight, him being on his horse and avoiding conflict with tons of troops and officers around him. That was a nightmare. Again, hes not really a main opponent... hes just kinda there. But they made his fight intense as hell on the hardest difficulty.
