Regarding the type of embroidery designs you use: I remember my grand mother hand-embroidering white pillowcases in this style (using white thread). Do you know what this style embroidery is called? Some ot her larger flower petals where cut out and embroidered around the hole (I hope you understand). I have been to Portugal, I know the ladies there do a lot of beautiful embroidery by hand, and old-style Lace ... and there are many beautiful publications with patterns ... Beautiful country, very tasty food and lovely people. So nice to meet you!
