My eyes and my brain are utterly blown away by the video quality you achieved from this camera lens combo. Wow! Every other video review on these lenses from UA-cam videographers are just blurry, unfocused, flat, hazy, and badly exposed mess . It was amazing to watch footage that was wonderfully exposed, focused, and had that 3d pop. Amazing dude!
Awesome video man, and great shots - I’m excited to get this set. Just a side note on @4:25: F-stop has less to do with light, and more to do with being an indication of the size of the lens’ aperture. The F-number represents the ratio of an equation comprising lens focal length and f-stop to work out the physical diameter of the aperture. In fact, the 'f' in f-stop actually stands for focal length. Fstop is tied to exactly what you said, but isn’t necessarily what F-stop *is*. T-stop (Transmission) indicates the amount of light reaching the sensor. When it comes to light and F-stop, F-stop is variable; while T-stop is constant. I figure you’re aware of that, but It’s more so for those that may be curious about the extra complicated details lol, if they happen to see this comment, that is haha. Peace and blessings brother, keep up the great work.
Thank you Andrei for the review, looking for a cheap cine lens with a ~35mm eq so it helps. It seems like there's a lot of C.A @7:31 on the close-up shot of the Fuji. I know it's a budget lens but it's way too much in my opinion. The lens is still interesting I think for that price and build quality. Also I guess the 1.2 is a very nice tool to have but to ensure a good in-focus shot I guess people would shoot @ f2.8 or more.
The CA is noticeable at T1.2 but if you stop down to T2 it goes away. In wider shots it is less noticeable at T1.2. But this is the price for such a bright lens. Thank you for watching.
Hello, thank you for the nice content. Which of these lenses would you recommend? For wedding shootings, short films and promotional works. 1) Sirui Night Walker 24mm T1.2 2) 7artisans 25mm T1.05 3) Meike 25mm t/2.2
I hate to ask that question, but 24mm relates to the focal distance for APS-C-sensor, so it then means 36mm on full frame, is that true? I am wondering about because Sirui also produces for mft and FF-Sensor as well, all labeled with 24mm. I myself have the 7Artisans Vision 25mm T/1.05 on my X-H2s, where I am quite sure this is a full frame exuivalent of 37.5mm and now am looking for something wider, like a 24mm FF-equivalent...
@@AndreiDimaReviews Thanks. It is a bit irritating for me that it seems there is not really a cine lens for 24mm full frame (16mm APSC) for fuji. Xeen does not produce for Fuji, there is probably Samyang with a lens I dont really like and a 15mm from Irix which I seem to do like much but costs $1200.. Do you have a cinelens in that range, or any other solution or just a not-cine Lens? Glad for some tips as I gonna have a bigger film project upcoming where I need a wide cine lens.. thanks :)
how does it fare with 7 artisans vision 25mm t 1.5 ? For me focus breathing is more evident in Sirui and the macro ability of the later is very tempting!
Nice footage Andrei. Since there are no contacts on the lens, will focus assist work on the x-h2 or x-h2s. What about the focus meter function on those cameras for video only work, or does it require electronic contacts to do that? Thanks!
A 16mm t1.2 could be done. Maybe a 12mm t1.4 or t1.5 would also be cool. A t1.2 is probably an f1.0 or something like that, so it’s not easy to do at such a wide angle.
Son unas lentes bien compactas y luminosas, verdaderamente salen a muy bien precio Cloudfounding! Me encantan en la versión me tal grey! Buena review amigo!!!!!
I've been looking at these for awhile now and I think I a m going to pull the trigger on the 24mm. I have a RED Komodo, so I'm i'm pretty stoked to see what sort of image I can pull from it.
thanks lot !! do u know prores 422 or prores lt will lagggg on my old 2015 imac 16gb on premiere cause i'm so scared i hope that prores files will play smooth
too dark. I know that is the style that is hipe on YT. But we came here to see the lens. All I can make off is your hands or the light parts anywhere but neither the lens or the cam
@@derJackistweg Just like you, I don't like the new trend on UA-cam where videos are too dark to see. Ever since 'The Batman' movie, everyone seems to be doing it. Regarding the monitor I use for editing, it looks okay. Since you posted your comment, I've watched it on other monitors as well, and yes, on some of them, it appears too contrasty, but not on all. I will take into consideration what you wrote and make future videos a bit different.
What do you think about the Sirui 24mm T1.2 cine lens? Tell me in the comments.
Im thinking of buying in. I rather have the 35mm but after seeing your video I think the 24mm will be enough. Thanks for the upload.
That just blew me away - beautiful footage. Not sire I have seen anything quite like it! Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it.

The Neewer Mini follow focus system.
Have you tried the 35 mm version? if yes, which one would you prefer as a traveller?
I did, I prefer the 24mm.

I would use this only for video.
If they can just release anything between 10-16mm with this T rating and similar price, it be amazing.

Do you know if these work without vignetting when shooting OpenGate on the Fuji XH2s?
There is Open Gate footage in the video, you can see for yourself. For the 35mm and 50mm I dont know yet.
