I'm so happy you have found such a great person to share your journey with Jaquie. I think Judd is such a good person and I admire him so much, he doesn't have to help people but he chooses to do so. In a national newspaper here in Sweden I also saw that two police officers died and I'm pretty sure it was in Tampa so I wanted to share my condolences. Even though we couldn't do anything about what was happening in Florida I'm sure we all cared about the citizens and the heroes who made the best of what they had. I also prayed for all of you even though I'm agnostic because it was one of the few things I could do as a minor across the world. I'm sending all my love to you and your wonderful family ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't know about Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week this is fantastic a lot more people need to know about Mito. People really have no idea how it effects your life. As someone with Mito I really appreciate this video and I'll definitely be wearing green today. You guys are awesome! I Love your channel! #LightsUpForMito!

Found out today that our environment and meds can cause mito, not always genetic. That is really good news because if you can cause you can cure it eventually. Like Jacqui said CoQ 10 can help, I also heard there are power foods and herbs we can look into with our doctors, after almost 60 years with this I have more hope> Tx Jacqui you inspire us to keep on looking and moving forward.

My dad lives in ft Myers and unfortunately was not able to leave so he's been having a rough time with dealing with the heat esp with the lack of power. I'm up in Ny and it's been scary! My in-laws are also in FL in Sebring so it's been a worrisome time but my in-laws just got back power and I pray my dad will soon. I'm so grateful the hurricane downgraded the way it did!! And I'm grateful to all those who helped and are helping. Thank you Judd!!

Kimberlee_Tucker No, Jose is a cat 1 and its headed up here to mid atlantic/ New England tonight, tomorrow. Maria is still far away going to sadly hit the islands and last i saw going up the east coast... lee they said might die out... I think Florida suffered enough.

I know a girl, 14 years old, unfortunately for her Mito affects her so bad she can only cry, smile and vocalize. For a long time I thought it was Cerebral Palsy. Thank you for talking about it, I'm sure some people didn't knew, like me, that it even existed. I'm glad I found your account, I've been learning a lot. Best wishes for you and your beloved ones.

When you mentioned the allergy Har has with kibbles, I just realized my dog is itching for no apparent reason, super watery eyes too... I need to look into that! Thanks for mentioning it Jaquie.
ooXChrissieXoo If you're not ready for raw ( I would gag at some components) Ask your vet about different kibble or wet food.
My dog had allergies to high end kibble. Itchy skin, ear infections. Raw made the last 5 years of her life the best they could be.

No problem! Raw has helped immensely with her allergies.
My dog had this too. something to do with mites that live in kibble. everything she eats has to either be fresh or frozen.

Harlow being glued to you is the sweetest thing. My dog is going to a board and train for 5 weeks. I'm going go miss him so much, and my illnesses will probably worsen over that time. I'm going to miss him to bits agh.

In Tech class today we had to make a "Wanted" poster for someone we like, but the things they were wanted for jokingly had to be good qualities about them. So I did mine on Harlow!

I'm in the NG too. I got activated for hurricane Harvey on a medical mission. No shift work... we saw patients and evacuees 24/7. It was a little more than 3 weeks. I got activated the same day my semester started. So now I have to miss another semester of school but it was totally worth it.
I find that people who do these things are very selfless. Thank you so much for all you do!
Yay for mitochondrial disease awareness week! I have mito and I'm so glad you're helping spread awareness! Especially because you have it too! It causes all my medical problems. I've been told it's even caused my EDS. Super happy Judd is home too! Hope you are doing ok and have a better day than today!
I am so happy Judd is finally home! I know you must have been missing him! What a great guy for him to provide service to those unfortunate families who lost their belongings. You must be so proud of him. Anyway, I thought of you today because I'm planning to get a Golden Retriever puppy later this year and I've decided to get a female and name her Harlow. The name just resonates. I was planning on Shelby before but I have become obsessed with Harlow - especially how many times I fall head over heels over your gorgeous dog!

I got to thank you, because I took the Aspergers test and got a 34, the next time was a 35 so I am above borderline and I guess I got a little autism , social and mostly introverted and notice smells, and sounds mostly. can tell when people get bored of my talking, notice patterns in things, see in depth on patterns, etc. I thank God for it, and explains why I grew up the way I have. I'm 45 now. I relate more with my dog than people, lol sad for me... ha.
I find ur videos u made me change and when I see people laugh at guide dogs or old people I make the say sorry u are the best thx for helping me change my life

Oh Gosh Judd!!!!!!! Jacquie, Harlow, Geoff (hope Jaquie shows you that dinner video) and even ME....we all missed you SO MUCH!!!!!! We are so glad you stayed safe!!!! My brother's brand new home in Rock Lake (Odessa) was battered but withstood the hurricane. THANK YOU FOR STAYING SAFE AND COMING HOME yesterday! It makes me happy to see Jacquie happy!!!!!!!!!
I highly recommend looking into freeze dried for your pre-made back up food. It's shelf stable so you don't have to worry about the extra freezer space or worry if there is a power outage. I feed stella and chewy's but there are so many good options out there.

My cats do the same thing as Harlow when I am having a really bad day. They sit on the blankets and my legs keeping in bed. Sometimes their reaction is my first sign that it is going to be a bad day. I have learned to listen to them and stay in bed when they are insistent.

Yes omg I have a ringing in my ears (tinnitus) due to a chemo drug I received and I couldn't figure out if it was just me and the ringing in my ears was just having bad day and being extra loud or if it was the roomba 😂
