Antonio is authentic, if not as polished as other channels. He’s the guy I would most want to hang out with among all of the people with chess channels.
This game was very magnificent. Alireza played like magnus. Slowly squeezing and turning his positional advantage to a tangible pawn advantage eventually creating a monster knight(which magnus is quite known for)
? To be fair, Alireza was just swagging, and some people complained FIRST, and then he complained about the arbiter sooo, yeah, maybe dont be babies firstly?
People sometimes just forget how good alireza is just bcz he failed in the candidates. There are only 6 or 7 players to defeat carlsen in a online match since 2020 and he's one of them (this should be enough to judge).
I don't consider online matches as an accurate representation of over the board events. But yeah, Alireza has really been toned down by people just because he didn't perform very well in Candidates, but that doesn't take away the fact that he is a very very strong player among the super GMs, and anyhow he has still room to grow.
Alireza is a beast ,No other kid from his generation is this much good at rapid and blitz mode. There is sth in him that I dont find in the indian wonder kids.He is far above them all

I always wonder he doesnt prepare for his matches as opposed to other youngsters but now I wonder if Alireza needs preparation at all when he has got skills like that?
When Alireza's playing well, there is virtually nothing he cannot do. The problem is he hasn't been very consistent since 2022 because of the distractions around him. Also, it seems to be his Classical games that have taken more of a hit than faster formats. It could mean his natural talents are still there, but he just hasn't spent as much time as his should studying full-time, allowing his opponents to out-prepare him in Classical.
So nice to see someone finally stop Magnus. I was thinking that CCT format suits him too well cos it's so hard to beat him both best of 4 and 2 times, but at least someone has done it
@agadmator l enjoy watching this channel even so i dont play chess so much. i do suggest for enlarge the mouse curser on your pc, as i think it will be easuer for us to watch your moves. for me, takes time to identify the row and number so quickly.

I somehow really enjoy how he always says 'here he resigns', followed by some information, and just then explaining why he resigned and ending the video like that.

It seems to have been a very long time since we heard from the mailman! I wonder if anyone has compiled lists of videos featuring the mailman, the pizza man or the ubiquitous bar and library friends?
Isnt Nxb7 the first kind of move you look at? A pawn is hanging and it comes with an attack on a rook. Course lining up that rook with our queen makes it look bad and dismiss it, but still.
Magnus is currently studying the phonecall variation invented by Agadmator. Heard rumors Levi Rozman is writing a book with critical lines in the variation 😂😂
If 21. ...Nc4 then 22. Qc3 traps black into an unfavorable exchange of pieces were white may win a piece for two pawns...other variations look good for white too. It may be that Nd5 was preferred because it cuts off the white queen's influence on the D file and no white pawn can challenge the black knight on d5...
From all recollections this man was truly a light into this dark world. If any positive can come from this situation I pray Amber has asked for forgiveness and found grace

8:27 Why not Nc4 here?
If 21. ...Nc4 then 22. Qc3 traps black into an unfavorable exchange of pieces were white may win a piece for two pawns...other variations look good for white too. It may be that Nd5 was preferred because it cuts off the white queen's influence on the D file and no white pawn can challenge the black knight on d5...
21. ...Nc4 I found a drawing chance for black...maybe I played it inaccurately for white, but it looks draw now. Nc4 may have been the way :)
