It's been since 1998 that i heard this masterpiece for the first time, and it's only in 2024 that i found a live version ! Thanks youtube, what a blast, you made me want to shred since i heard this, thank you so much Brett :)
The best thing is I emailed Brett expressing my love and respect for him. He emailed back saying "thank you for the kind words..." Man, I was ecstatic! ❤
Brett! I just realized that at 6:24 you played some outside notes which echo Hendrix's outside notes on Band of Gypsy's (I think on "Who Knows"). Not only that but I've watched and loved every second of this video dozens of times, and each time I hear some new wonderful sounds in your solo and accompaniment and in the whole band. So thank you again for getting this thing recorded! Peace
Oh part of the JF Gang - how cool 😅 Brett, Can you please play one we've heard but never seen you play - Black Dog - John and you all were just unbelievable. Also can you play your solo again from Let Me Out 1987 - so phenomenal ❤😊
So f*** badass! This song has been one of my favorites for 35 years! Thanks for posting it, the only problem now is it's stuck in my head (again) and I can't stop replaying it!!!
Four of the very best in the business right there. 8 minutes of musical bliss and creative inspiration. A great memory of Stuart also. Thanks for sharing Brett!
Man gotta add a comment like I remember my local library had rock fusion guitar I'd never heard anything like it was like 15years ago but it was one of those really big moments in my life love Brett Garsed n hope more Aussies will like myself then saying WHAT play with John Farnham
Man, I just discovered Stuart Fraser... that solo is so grounded to earth and expressive! Total control! Of course you are the star, Brett... a master´s master.
This album with mvp and truth in shredding was the glory years of guitar, I’m in my early 30s but I prefer the garsed gambale era of playing. Peak guitar. My fav player is garsed hands down and holdsworth.
You pinched those harmonics. didn´t use whammy pedal...? If so, I just can´t understand how in earth. How good is this!!! Whole band groove like a moose and your solo is so, so good. Thank you!
Please fud fighter from this session that's on your instructional DVD, my signed copy developed a spot on my fav track :( Love your music and playing, for decades now. You mad bro, crazy good.
Hey Matt, I don't think so. I first played it on an album called Centrifugal Funk back in 1990 so it's a cover tune. I'm not sure who actually wrote it but I'm pretty sure it's been around way before Seinfeld.

Fantastic jam!" the groove by the bass and the drums is insane, the perfect platfoerm for the guitars to shine. Superb.
I want a new version of So What now………your fans demand all your hits!
Stuart was ripping it there! Miss you mate! Thanks Bretto for sharing, he was a great guitar player and a great guy.

Thanks Perttu! I've played with the other guys in the band for 30 years so we knew each others playing so well it was almost scary.
@@brettgarsed Haha, scary indeed! Thanks for replying.
Yeah those pinches sounded like a guitar synth. That was awesome! Been listening since Quid Pro Quo, BTW.
Is that really all pinch harmonics? Sounds like an octavia!!
It's an interesting effect isn't it? Sometimes I get lucky and they work really well so I guess this gig was one of those moments.
It's not the same without Shawn Lane but still enjoyable.
The world is not the same without Shawn lane

Brett.. Is the name of this taken from Seinfeld?
