I use a plastic laundry sink. But you can also use a plastic tote container. And I use a little tide powdered laundry detergent in water. Never use hot water. The sudden temperature change can Crack the glass. I scrub with a plastic bristled brush.

I have a ton of this stuff that belonged to my great grandmother. How do I tell if it's American Brilliant Cut?

Usually if it's very heavy, sharp cuts, and lots of detail pressed glass just kind of lays there. If you want to send some photos I can take a look.
