Exactly nobody would like to choose new Elantra because down in design gives much artificial look and two other looks way better compared to it

Yes this irony was good till 2019 but current gen 2020 doesn't have feel in design like next gen verna of 2017 -19. It looks more artificial in design than mature now

It was in the class of Verna, corolla, vento, ciaz, not comparable to the ones featured here.
nalin jain Cruze was compared with Civic Elantra Octavia Jetta and Corolla 😄 And verna Ciaz City Vento Rapid and Toyota Yaris comes with that segment Corolla will not come with that line 😁

Water / coolant pump issue , again and again . If you drive it regularly , really cool to drive but hard to maintain .
Civic & Elantra needs 50% more power to catch OCTAVIA

Octavia's grunty engine & butter smooth gearshifts, Civic's looks & reliability, *Hyundai's* features & after sales service. *Guess we can omit the Elantra altogether then* 😁🤭
Octavia's shifts are fast, not smooth. Torque converters are way smoother.

That awkward moment when you realize that the last gen Civic which came almost 11 years ago does 0-100 in 8 to 8.5 seconds which is almost 4 seconds quicker than the new boy.......

Octavia is superb for both self driving and chauffeuring which other two cars lacks. Octavia provides both world sporty and executive comfort.

Honda civic diesel is the best complete package , the most reliable , most fuel efficient(i got 24kmpl) , most agile, lowest maintenance (japanese brand) , very very stable , best rear seat comfort , less noise engine than octavia diesel , great aerodynamic design , on papers it is low power but on highway it is a beast , enough power , we buy cars for driving not for racing , and many many reasons to go for HONDA Civic diesel , cockpit design , darker interiors than other two,MANUAL TRANSMISSION IS THE BEST FOR LONG HIGHWAY DRIVE , keeps you engaged, Happy Highway Cruising

Octavia looks luxurious
At this price, sedans are much better than fake SUVs. They drive better, have big boots and looks also 'class'.

these cars are fair and square to each other in overall stats including after sales
but i want to say VTEC is vtec nothing can beat.
I own a five year old elantra but I’d love to try an octavia or superb. Not that I can afford that right now.
I test drove Civic, I missed manual transmission, it definitely needs manual gear box for that " ivtec kicked in yo" but the car looks 🔥🔥🔥. For the price tag it carries, it misses out a hell lot of features... But I love this car...💓
The biggest drawback of the civic will be its CVT transmission . Honda should have given it a mannual version as well.

India needs an affordable hot hatch asap! Car enthusiasts are evolving at a fast pace but the market is still dull. The super cars are too expensive whereas the affordable ones are not up to the mark, performance wise.

Elantra has always been the most value for money sedan in it's class comparative ly.
But Octavia is for enthausiasts. It's 1.8tsi is a gem
But worst thing is that upcoming new gen Octavia will not meet bs6 means it's 1.8tsi will be discontinued ☹️
Civic is more dynamic than the Octavia and Elantra
But still some cost cuttings are there which isn't acceptable for a car of this price
Overall if you want a sedan at 22lakhs Elantra is the only one u should go with
If money doesn't matter then Octavia is the one

We owned an Octavia before. Owning it was a horrible hell with dsg issues within a year.
We now own a Toyota Corolla which is the dimateric opposite of the Skoda. End of the day peace of mind is what all humans strive for.
In contrast to yours, Octavia 2.0 TDI DSG has completed 4 years 70k kms without any trouble "touchwood" well according to me there is no other car in this segment which provides perfect combination of engine and garebox(DSG). You can drive this machine all day without fatigue. i enjoy driving my car even today. the secret of healthy car is "Drive your car yourself, never lend your car to others".

The skoda is a great car. however Skoda has always had the following issues
1. Shortage of Authorised Service centers and spares availability.
2. Resale value
3. High cost of maintenance...
Hyundai on the other hand has an upper hand here....

Considering that I don't have to drive on track,I would go for Civic for its maintenance cost,reliability and LOOKSSSS
The Octavia is an awesome car, until you own it and regret getting one. I mean, I wonder how any sane person would spend 25L on a car knowing very will that AS&S is going to be horrendous. Only an enthusiast who is willing to spend considerable amount of time and money would get one. The Civic and Elantra makes more practical sense.
And when Honda brings their Turbo Civic and Hyundai brings their Turbo with DCT, Octy's sale would slump even further. Considering the fact that the new gen Creta comes with a 1.4 Turbo Petrol and DCT, I won't be surprised if the next gen Elantra comes with a bigger Turbo Petrol and DCT.

when is Skoda octavia 2020 will come in market??
The Skoda's After sales and service is questionable and no one in that price range would want that. I would prefer the elantra over the Octavia (for all reasons but for the performance). But things would change if Hyundai brings in the 1.6 Turbo and you can see the Skoda sales drop like a mosquito hitting a bat !
Previous design of all the cars are way better than the current form.
If a comparison video has a Skoda Octavia in it, victory is assured for it.

Elantra 2021 is way more better then this elantra 2020 Hyundai knew they messed so they released elantra 2021 quickly this year only you should check out it looks different now.
