It's a great cube, specially considering the price. But I still prefer the WRM 2021 or the Tornado V2, as they fit better in my hands and are more adjustable.

Yup, the cube is great, but with other cubes offering more advantages for almost the same price, it’s hard to recommend.

Yes. Your right. I bought the Tornado V 3 Pioneer and I bought also the Huameng Ballcore Maglev UV 3x3 recently. From the Cubicle. I think this Gan 356 M. Is just about as good as these. When I do PLLS for practice especially G Perms the transition is so smooth and Corner Cutting is Great on this 356 M.

I just got mine today, found a store that sells it with discount, and managed to grab one for only 9$. It's worth it and it turns extremely fast even in the tightest setting, you can pretty much do U2 with one flick, although the reason I bought it is because of the black internals, it looks amazing. It's a great cube but there are other better options.

I really enjoy the 356 but haven't been able to use mine since one of the screws got stripped. I still have my 356 air and 2 of the standard Valk 3s but I really enjoy it, might have to get it

I really like the quiet sound and stability of the 356m, I don't like really fast cube as they easily become uncontrollable to me because of my turning style. I'm thinking of upgrading, should I go for Tornado V3 or Gan 13 maglev? I heard the Tornado V3 is very quiet but I also heard the strongest magnet setting on the Gan 13 is really good and make it very stable.
Hey! I think both the Tornado V3 and Gan 13 offer significant upgrades and are both really good.
Personally I would go for the Gan 13 as I am used to the feeling of them and the 56 mm rather than the 55.5. Also the Gan has better corner cutting than the tornado v3, so if you have a tough turning style, I’d go for the gan.

I currently have some random off brand speed cube that cost 5$ it sound really bad but it’s decent and I started cubing like a few weeks ago my time is 1 minute 26 seconds and I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to buy this cube when I get a time below 1 minute and start using it? If that’s not a good idea what should I wait for to buy this?

Buying an advanced cube in the first phases is not wrong, it only means you won’t use all the advantages of the cube, and by the time you will, there’s going to be a better one. So there is no said date or record to get a new one
At the moment, I would recommend the RS3M V5, Ball core version, as it has a better performance for a lower price, it definitely won’t let you down! The 356M is not wrong, but it’s starting to be outdated.

Do you recommend this cube or JPerm’s RS3 M 2020 cube? I want a good performing cube and they are at similar prices. I like cubes that are good out-of-the-box because I don’t know how to lube a cube.

Both Cubes are really good! However there are other choices as well, like the WRM, Ys3 M and other cubes by moyu.
If budget is not a problem, go with the one you’d like most, if not, it truly depends on you turning style.

Both cubes are great, however, the Moyu Super RS3M V2 is newer and offers a bit more in terms of performance. The 356M has its pros and cons as well, but it is slightly older.
You can't go wrong with both, but I would oct for the newest as it most likely has the performance you're looking for!

Hey! The current best should be the RS3M V5 as it’s not only more recent, but offers a wider range of upgrades at just $25.
I personally use the WRM V9 which is similar to the V5 and It it my current main!

From my personal experience, I loved the GAN 11 m Duo as it had something special in it’s turning style, and it was very lightweight.
After I broke it, I switched to the 356 M, and stayed with it. I personally would have preferred the 11 m duo.
But they definitely are great cubes.

I haven’t tried to ys3m yet, however, I’d definitely go for the for the YS3m as I think it could be definitely better than the WRM 2021. Especially if you like smoother controllable cubes.

Im pretty sure the YS3M ballcore is almost the same price why would i pay the same price but for less features unless im a broke gan fanboy and really want to try a gan cube then i see no worth in the 356m even then ill just go for the Gan 11m duo which is the same price range as the WRM V9 ballcore UV
Obviously this cube came out earlier, even before the RS3M itself. Obviously the YS3 M is better. Although it’s still a pretty solid cube.

Absolutely! You can use it as a warm up cube if that’s what you mean, as I used it as my main at home. It definitely has potential but might not be worth as a main anymore with all the recent cubes.
So if you’re just looking for one to have at home and warm up with it, it’s definitely good enough!

The gan 11M is much more worth it than the 356m and that’s because of the features it offers and the increased stability it has thanks to it’s core magnets. So it is a bit more “futuristic” than the 356 m, but both are very very good!
But the 356 does not let you down, however 2023 brought so many cubes that are worth a shot, it then comes down to what someone prefers over someone else!

Yo bro im so sry for late respond, tysn for the reply but rn im looking for a new cube, i really love the v3 design and the cube it self, but theres some certain youtuber that said v3 sometimes has a weird lock up when doing some more complex alg, i already have some cube in mind like ys3m, v9, or xman v3. Got any suggestion of what cube should i get?, or in that price range did u think theres a better cube?

Is it better than the X S. Which I have and I don't see anything special about it.
I would say it is on the same level, the XS is in fact a fancier version, but as time moves on, it looses its spark.

Absolutely!
Even if its the first speed cube you got, it’s always worth it!
You’ll eventually get better and better to the point where switching to similar cubes doesn’t really affect your timings!

Which ges and ges setting do you use? I'm using purple 0.8 because it's very fast and amazing corner cutting but sometimes it's hard to control
Hey! I personally use the 0.6 option as I feel it makes the cube more compact and easy to handle during fast solves!

The gan 356 ME might be slightly better as it offers maglev features, making it faster.
The 11 m Pro also includes corner magnets making it more stable, depending on how you view it, the cube is worth it but might be at the same time slightly outdated!

I like Gan 356 m it's my main because I bought new one, the only thing that annoys me that it's so noisy, sounds like helicopter
It is likely that the cube is a bit too fast causing these plastic noises, to solve that, try turning smoother, if you don't want to make it slightly slower!

If you’re looking for the best option, I would highly recommend the Rs3 M ball core as it is personally my favorite between the 2.
The Super RS3M is also newer which makes it more worth it!

The rs is non magnetic, buying the 356 m will make your turns way more stable, it also has an adjustable spring setting allowing you to customize it to your liking, the rs does not offer that feature.
