I actually learned how to backflip on a trampoline before I learned a front flip because it was so much easier. I feel like I might be able to do this even though I've only wakeboarded like 3 times 😂
@@boonecragun7717 experiment with passenger and ballast placement. And then speed it up. Gotta be doing 21-24 mph, once you find the sweet spot, always set it up that way.
Very serious answer: Speed is your friend, most people go too slow, like mentioned above the proper speed is 21-24, with a cleaner wake tending to come around 23-24mph. For a V hull around 20-23ft that is rated for 8-12 people I’d shoot for around 800-1600lbs of ballast in the boat from where the driver is back. If your boat doesn’t want to ride level with out bounding slowly move some weight forward. Take the boat for a test past with a rider and once the pull is good and the boat isn’t bouncing, pay attention to where the wake is clean & solid. When you get a tow rope it will come very long usually around 65ft to 85ft, you’re going to want to shorten until you hit the clean face on edge… granted nice boats get a shaped wake farther back but you can always shorten just don’t go close than 60 ft or else things start to feel funny for the rider, behind most boats 65ft to 75ft is the spot where the poppiest wake is.
line length really depends on the boat’s natural wake width, but shorter is easier but not too short. My guess would be about 60 feet back. speed’s gotta be between 20 and 24 depending on your boat. whatever gets the wake clean.
Me who has never wake boarded: yes yes will take notes
me who searched how to wakeboard for beginners
Absolute perfection. Thank you for these videos David!
I’m totally gonna try this on my 1 hour wakeboarding lesson in Florida this summer
I need to buy a wake board soon looks so fun
It looks so easy lol
''it looks'' xD i tried and i got covered by my own feet. :D

good flip
Me who has never seen a wakeboard: ay thanks for the tip bro
How do you make the ramp so clean?
Have a proper wakeboard boat
@@scottsmith7337 i do I just trying to figure out correct ballast settings, speed, rope length etc

W flip
Can you show it at full speed
Beaaaauuuuuty
Step 1. Have a $300k wakeboard boat
Or $10k
He has a video doing a flip behind a Jon boat
@@sheilacampos69I'm not saying they don't exist but they don't exist 😂.
What speed should I go for beginner?
??
Around 18mph depending on body weight
wake probably wont be clean enough to flip unless your doing at least 19.5. I ride 22-24mph.
I don’t have a tower to connect the rope. I can connect it next to the motor. Does this work?
yeah but you dont get as much lift from the rope so it will be harder
What speed and length a rope should this be done at for the first attempt
6”1 weigh about 170 and ride a 142”

Is this possible on a smaller wake
Ya it would be harder but you could definitely still do it
it’s possible on open water with no wake. look up a ‘bel air’ on a wakeboard.
My goodness
This guy is way off on his measurements.
