my great grandparents came to america at the turn of the century with nothing but the clothes on their backs, a dream and I think it was like 30 dollars they gave them and were told 'welcome to America head out west best jobs are there!' They moved to California as United States citizens. Learned to speak English because they were from Germany and only really spoke German. I am proud to be their great grand daughter. There are still things to be proud of in being an American. God Bless America.
Found an EXCELLENT video to capture what I have experienced in our road trip out West. Although I have known this feeling before, I had forgotten the GREATNESS of this country. Driving over 3500 miles to the Great Lakes , the Dakotas, the Bad Lands, and Mt Rushmore, captured once again the GREAT country that I live in. And the beauty !

I mean it literally is the polar opposite of a "Christian nation" . You couldn't be more wrong in your assessment of this nation . No America is a built on the purpose of being separated from religious heirorchy because our forefathers didn't want the country to be run by a bunch of religious morons . If America was a "Christian Nation" it would be in the Constitution don't you think? if the men that found America wanted it to be affiliated or influenced by a religion they would atleast have named the religion in the Constitution. but they didn't, Why?
