You do have the option to purchase insurance which allows you to get a refund in case of injury. This seemed like a no-brainer to me and I went with the insurance.
wheather or not this is worthwhile depends on your risk of injury. you allready spend the money, so you can afford to lose the money. be careful with your training, don't overtrain, take care of your strenght training, good shoes crouds in the weeks leading up and you will be finde
Question , the Berlin marathon app doesn’t exist right now, they had the 2023 version but not 2024 . I tried to download the official map but couldn’t get it.

Very true. Although ‘only 40’ relates to it being less than other majors in my experience. But good point, if you’re not fussed great to put towards another race 🙌🏼

Yes I too am surprised it’s not dropped yet. Haven’t heard a response from the organisers socials yet.
The official website says that the app should be available on September 25.

the course shouldnt change too much anyway compared to last year. you can also check information on the Website
