Of course, there are many fans who watch and support them as an idol or girl group, but I genuinely liked them because I thought they were great as artists. The video production and concept production team is top-notch and has a unique sense of style. I was never bored following their work. I don't think you will ever regret supporting them.

Jennie said it herself, k-pop is not a particular genre or even just songs sung in Korean. It is about the training process and lifestyle of an idol, these were cultivated in Korea but not exclusive to the country or Koreans. That's why k-pop can sound like a million different things and be sung in english, japanese, etc. by people of any ethnicity. XG worked their asses off under k-pop vet Simon, and went through the traditional k-pop idol training process. So yes, they are releasing some the best and freshest k-pop in the industry :D
