I find that this is the most asked question to me from the tribe of doubt. It's crazy how perfectly they parrot all the accusers and questioners of Paul in Romans, especially Romans 9. Goes to show that we are preaching the same thing Paul preached 2,000 years ago.

Jas 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. ( still caught between dishonour and honour ) 2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
So who does the drawing in, Christians? (I know I'm quoting out of the book of John, but still) "No one can come to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me, and I will raise that person up on the last day" - John 6:44
The "last day" referred to here is probably the day Christ returns to set up the millennium. So those He is using to draw them are the believing circumcised, not the believing BOC.
It's not so much the judging or the tribulation. I just, if my letter made sense... I just know that I yearned for kindness and saw the way I acted change in the moments I had it. And I know lots of people who've been very hurt and I read of God's judgements with torment and I "dont like it". And thing is, I WANT TO be at peace with it but I dont know how. He scares me because of them, in relation to what He's put with me. I dont know what to do with it.
Father does not "torment" His children. Those chosen as "vessels of destruction" are given over to Satan to believe Satan's lies. For believing those lies they are judged (governed) and shown the error of their beliefs. Then based on their works they are either returned to death (the lake of fire) to await the consummation, or they are sent to the New Heaven and the New Earth to live out the fifth eon. If you have been chosen to be of the BOC you do not face the GWTJ (Great White Throne Judgement). And everyone will eventually be completely reconciled to Christ at the consummation (even those in the second death, the Lake of Fire). So be at peace.

Paul would have to be severed from his mother's womb of inherited theology in order to manifest the Christ to be revealed in him. How else would Paul know the sabbath and feasts and new moon festivals were all types and shadows of what to expect through Christ in the future? Col2:16Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. 17These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.
If we can't find the message of grace and the salvation of all in the writings of Moses there would be no dawn of day to the message. (See Isa8:20) The Bereans would have confirmed the message of Paul with the Torah.
Three High Feasts of God foreshadow the salvation of every man in his own order... Here's the mystery of the salvation of all mankind in three stages putlined in the Book of Exodus as witnessed by Paul in 1Cor15:20-28 Ex23:14“Three times in the year you shall keep a feast to me. 15You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. None shall appear before me empty-handed. 16You shall keep the Feast of Harvest, of the firstfruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. You shall keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labor. 17Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the Lord God.
Notice what Jesus says about the teachers of the writings of Moses becoming disciples of the kingdom... New and Old Treasures Mt13:51 “Have you understood all these things?” They said to him, “Yes.” 52 And he said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

I believe you have a wrong perception of "judge". The interlinear reminds us in Brown-Driver-Briggs 185 verb שָׁפ is judge, govern. There is no negative connotation to being "judged", as there is in "judgement" (as Christianity defines it), rather there is a revelation of the error of one's understanding as we are governed. So being used by God to misunderstand in contrast to our being used to understand, is just His choice in showing the contrast.

The scripture itself is manifestly clear. The problem is, I think, you don’t like it. You basically state precisely what God does, and then you say “oh, come on. You’ve got to be kidding me.” You’re saying this to God, not to me.

My own view is that the final judgment (decision) made by Jesus at the Great White Throne after all have given account for the things thought, done, or said will be - "Father, they are not guilty"! they were doing just what we planned. And they did it well!. Enter, all of you, into the joy of the Lord."- As for the verse "if anyone was not found written in the scroll of life" being "cast into the lake of fire" - there won't be any human cast into that second death (the lake of fire), because all humanity was written in the Lamb's book of life before the disruption of the world in the sovereignty of God! Of course that is just my view of what happens at the dais (raised platform) before the Great White Throne of God as I read and harmonize all of the Bible.
