I see music production vids all the time on tutorials of how to get drums to knock hard. I never understood why someone would need such a vid. But then I realized it’s my own bias since I use a 3K which makes drums knock so big I will never have such a problem. Actually the problem I have sometime is how to tone them down. 😅

Beautiful beats. I love my 3000 and I’ve owned many models. Pro tip: install that HUGE replacement screen they make. It takes over the whole tilted area, including the bezel. It’s amazing.

I use MPC3000 for many years - greatest MPC in terms of sound straight Out of the Box! It lucks track mutes and sound previews in browser - that MPC 2000 and MPC 2000XL can have track mutes FX Board ( luck the bass end of 3000 though). than comes MPC1000 JJOS Super Portable with all the options that other MPCs before it are lucking but thinner sounding then 3000 and 2000 - but with the RIGHT EARS and clever EQ and Filtering - ANY MPC can sound Great ! and YES MPC3000 is still a King of full stereo sound! the way it mixes / summs samples on it stereo outs is unparalleled to any other MPC out there!
