If you ever play this game again and are playing any aquatic or semi-aquatic like the turtle, you just need to surface and press e, or your interact button that you use to eat and you will fill your air. This was a lovely video to watch, I miss playing this game thank you for shedding light on a gem of a game
whats crazy though is I was over an hour into the game and hadn't had to do that yet, was so confused lol
They need to have it not a thing, it dumb that we have to tell the creature to breath.. it's really confusing but regardless I love this game. :c I just wish they change it.

If anyone reads this, I am really not kidding when I say this game is an underrated gem. Currently the community is very small but it is absolutely worth buying, its got a much more layered complex system than most of the other games in its genre, and I have not regretted buying this game since I got it years ago! Also, thank you for covering this game riot!
I love seeing new players try out this game! BoB is such a fun and fantastic experience, and I really hope you give it another go. It has so many complex systems and things to learn, the map is varied and massive and it'll only get bigger, and all the dinos are distinct, different, and fun to play. It was so fun watching you experiencing it all for the first time

I'd love to see you play more of this game! There are so many dinos that have such cool abilities. One of the small herbivores can make very cool underground burrows, I'd love to see what kind of home you'd make with that! It's really fun to make one with many winding tunnels and just make it as big as you want!
Exactly, so much more fleshed out than other dino sims imo, where it doesn't feel like just a walking sim half the time, and there's actually more to do. The only other one that comes close I'd say is Prior Extinction, but that's held back because the dinosaurs are very expensive, or tedious to unlock. The actually gameplay is good tho.

Funnily enough I actually first discovered Riot's channel and beasts of bermuda at the same time years ago when he played it with Beaver (and Beaver didn't know how to unmute) cool to see things go full circle!

I'm so sorry xD I didnt breath for an hour idk what happened, unless I was accidently breathing the entire time but I dont think Id just press F for no reason all the time
@EVERYNIGHTxRIOT it's a weird thing you have to do with a lot of the water dinos on Bob. Press a key, and it fills your oxygen. I know it's strange vs. just getting water by touching the air or being on land.

The speedy talent point gain lasts until you are 1.32. After that it slows way down and you actually need to hit 4.6 - 4.8 growth (I don't remember the exact number) to max your trees! The gain speed is the same on all life cycle servers.

This game used to be a legend. Literaly watch any old video of the game. It used to be way more fun, now its filled with bunch of free revive PvE roleplay servers. The game used to be a real PvP before at least, now idk if it even deserves the tag "PvP" on Steam 😂
the air bubbles take up the same space as the hydration indicator for other dinosaurs/reptiles which is why it mechanically said upon death that you needed to drink despite it being an air issue for you X'D

This is my favourite Dino survival game as far as the game mechanics. However the way they set the chat up really irritates me. It's like nails on a chalkboard for my dyslexic brain.
I also find the graphics difficult, I can't pinpoint it.
I wish I could get myself into this game more.

It's probably the best dinosaur sim we have imo. It doesn't have the graphics of others, but in terms of gameplay and complexity, it's waaaayyyy more fun than Path or the Isle. More to do than the Isle, lacking the dull quests of Path. Best breeding, map events, a skill tree for each species, a good variety of said species.
Don't get me wrong, those other games are good, the Isle is stunning visually, Path has excellent combat (the main draw of that game in my eyes), but in terms of wanting to just live as an extinct animal, BoB does it best without making it tedious me thinks.
well...i mean it literally was the isle the base game and code was given to these devs as i remember them giving the isle devs shit and dondi throwing a tantrum and saying here you do better which lead to backlash on both sides
hmmm well thats fair then for sure, though the games seem worlds apart now

@@dracosicarius2089Deathly made the base code for The Isle and then he left. Pred was not given any code at all he was given the chance to rebalance the game and was told if you think you can do better you make a game by Dondi. But it's been so long since I watched that video so might want to double check lol
