Sounds fucking sick. Matt, I purchased, YES, I actually BOUGHT your album, "And Time Begins..." at a little known store I used to work at called Hastings. It was late 2003, and I had JUST started my job in the music department. Found your album, loved the artwork, then saw it was on Unique Leader, and I knew it was meant to be. I've been following Decrepit Birth's progress since that day. To be completely honest, you lost me for a few years when you guys started doing the Summer Slaughter tours, and changed your sound. I really tried to get into the "Decrepit Birth playing "Death - Individual Thought Patterns-like riffs over and over with blastbeats" - but I just couldn't. There was no heart and soul in that music, my friend. Sorry to say it. None of what you guys wrote after "And Time Begins..." captured me, BUT, with the new work you guys have been doing, I'm back in. I'm astounded at the new music, and I feel like you're back on the path to carving out YOUR unique sound. Don't ever fall back on emulation. Just listen to your heart and play what feels right. Love all you guys!
