Sounds fucking sick. Matt, I purchased, YES, I actually BOUGHT your album, "And Time Begins..." at a little known store I used to work at called Hastings. It was late 2003, and I had JUST started my job in the music department. Found your album, loved the artwork, then saw it was on Unique Leader, and I knew it was meant to be. I've been following Decrepit Birth's progress since that day. To be completely honest, you lost me for a few years when you guys started doing the Summer Slaughter tours, and changed your sound. I really tried to get into the "Decrepit Birth playing "Death - Individual Thought Patterns-like riffs over and over with blastbeats" - but I just couldn't. There was no heart and soul in that music, my friend. Sorry to say it. None of what you guys wrote after "And Time Begins..." captured me, BUT, with the new work you guys have been doing, I'm back in. I'm astounded at the new music, and I feel like you're back on the path to carving out YOUR unique sound. Don't ever fall back on emulation. Just listen to your heart and play what feels right. Love all you guys!

Hoping the production on the next record will be a bit better

ha the guy under me lol... i thought that because of the shirt until i realized deserts are dusty places! ;P that aside, that last part of drum must be sick to play with the subtle speed changes and the notes following the guitar! the only words i hear tho are : "open my brain, out of every thing this is not; this is a mind for creation!" then it blures again... i can't even understand Celine Dion so how did i hear that? ;P and my mind say you changed the drummer to avoid catastrophy! and of course non sense like genes and clones lol but that one about catastrophy feels real! so? did anything happen? not that 66samus is not good, he is Epic but the original drummer seems to have been a genius at drumming and you don't drop people like that unless you have an important reason! tho i like this album, it's technical and does not sacrifice music for the sake of technique! BTW if my English sucks it's because im french and am guessing most words! <--^ hey look a bunch of text!
