F****** Great and Crazy . My Young Revival rockabilly years (we moved in Rockabilly roots since 1978) . So much we love and hear their Nervous Lp's . Yep , Restless also play two Gigs in me hometown last years (in France / Alsace also) . STAY WILD RESTLESS & LET'S BOP'N'STOMP
Yes, exactly! I still listen to rockabilly and psychobilly to this day. I like to listen to Restless, Happy Drivers, Guana Batz etc...and don't forget Grazy Carvan, he was King of British Rockabilly. Without him today would not be enforced. Thanks to Stray Cats and Grazy Carvan ! Greetings from Germany :)
Back in 1984/5 The Restless played live in pyjamas in “West Berlin” Germany the Metropol / Loft. Unfortunately I never found any record of it, it was just a incredibly concert
I can remember buying there album way back in early 80s I find these was miles better than the stray cats because they sounded original like the blue cats they wrote there own songs very much Rockabilly unlike some of the bands today they call there selves Rockabillies they sound too heavy like metal that's not Rockabilly Rockabilly music as a mixture of country in it not heavy Rock restless 80s Rockabilly The stargazers for the Rock N Roll haley sound . I was around way back in 81 82 83 I was 50s DJ then got my self in to a rock N Roll band called the HOT ROCKS played Drums we used to copy long black shiny car and iced Cold
Simon Crowfoot Hey fella - are you Simon previously of Torment? Torment was great. Don't see much of that stuff these days. The Guana Batz were in Chicago last year (where I live now) and my band supported them. Hilarious - it was like the 80's all over again. Hope you're well.
I remember this local Band back in the 80s one of my friends was dating Mark Harman, her name was Maggie, not sure what ever happened to her though as we lost touch....
Went to see restless at the stars and stripes, in carlisle. They wore the pyjamas. They were really good. Not much of an audience if I remember rightly. Good night all the same.
Whos still listening to Restless in 2024!!!!!
Here I am! I'm even tryin to learn their songs om my double bass!
Supported these boys back in the day, best band going for sure
Was that with the caravans?
Amazing, a great video for fans of one of the very best ages of Restless, thanx for to share!!!

I had mixed feelings about this band but over time they grew to be one of my favorites.
Awesome music

Before Jeff's bass lost its scroll. Most creative neo-rockabilly band ever. Dubious dress sense, but astonishing musicians.
Seen them many times klubfoot, when me ole mate billy Duffy would turn up...

So remember this! I even bought the PJ's!
This playback is on the original song of Restless “Do you feel restless”
Right... They were still a trio and there was Paul Harman instead of Jeff Bayly on the double bass
👍
