The way these topics are usually handled distorts them to make it seem like the UFO phenomena is disproportionately concentrated in the US. But this channels work has made it more clear to me that it's much more ubiquitous.
I think that's a pretty valuable detail, too, because many of the most jaw dropping UFO cases are from long before the days of home internet. Sure, there were spooky sci-fi movies and novels about aliens way back but would those have really been influential enough to inspire reports all over the world for decades? Yes. Read any good ufo book and you will see they are everywhere. A good book is ‘Need To Know’ by Timothy Good. Real ufo encounters by the worlds militaries taken from unclassified military files. What’s in there will open your eyes. 👍🇬🇧

I have been following your show for a few months, I applaud u my friend, well done indeed. I have studied ufology for about 20 years. I am far from a novice and it is rare indeed that I come across such a fascinating case . Also u are a terrific storyteller so bravo my friend bravo, well done.
Just a note that this video doesn't include another detail I've read about the first encounter with Marius Dewilde. Allegedly Dewilde found a black box left by the beings and hid it in inside a carton at his house. A brief time later several French Air Force officers came by and took the box. Somehow knowing he had it in his possession. This detail comes from the reports where the beings are claimed to be smaller, robot-like, and lacking arms. So it could be apocryphal.

It is very reminiscent of your style, if not as lofty. If you haven't ever seen one before, early in season 1 is best. You might want to check it out. Actually I was watching last night on MeTV. Ironically I think the first episode is UFO, hahaha, I'm waiting for that re-run. Small piece of trivia, one of the producers was David Chase, later on he was involved in a show called Northern Exposure. Then he created another show call The Sopranos. (I'm being funny when I say "a show called"). And of course The Night Stalker was credited by Chris Carter of basically being the original X-Files... But this channel is doing GREAT work of telling old timey ufo stories. I guess I must have watched something months ago, because the channel's thumbnails have been in my feed.

It somehow reminds me of the Emilcin abduction in Poland in 1978. The general appearance of the beings seems similar to those witnessed in France, with ‘Asian’ facial features and black-greyish overalls, let alone their peculiar interest in bird stealing. The best aspect of these is, "what if", because they're more plausible than other weird stuff, so it gets my neck hair up. However, if I ever see something super weird, I got my phone ready to record.

It's crazy to me that the description of the UFO (orange light, no sound, instant acceleration etc.) is from the 50's. This makes it quite credible to me tbh.
One thing I noticed with these encounters, is that these entities make sure there is at least 1 person who will notice their shenanigans. It's like they do it purposely.
Think a bit, one day or another there will be a planned close encounter, it is mathematical - what would you do if you were them, gently prepare Terrans for this day with such encounters or do nothing and barge in unannounced ?

The radiation that paralyzes people reminds me of the Tsarachina hole story. I had a theory about hydrogen sulfide, there is a study that discovered hydrogen sulfide can induce hibernation in mice. A lot of encounter stories have an element of a strong disgusting odor. Also just recently another study about ultrasound brain pulses inducing hibernation in mice.

I have never heard of, or read about this incident, even that I for years was a member of a Danish, Swedish and Norwegian UFO- organization. I like that, mostly, the UFO-world repeated and repeated about the same, known cases until I went so bored so I did leave them all. Those organization still stands and live about thirty years behind what is happens to day. Those of us who want to, can attend truthful channels in here who have recent updates Luckily there is moving forward in this topic. Anyway, thank you for sharing those I have never heard about.
Many of these has been completely unheard to me as well which makes this content all very intriquing, compared to most known cases, which also are or rather were interesting but videos created about them seem to be in numbers thirteen in a dozen. and since there are lot of storytellers about those, the details seem to change a bit every time or some very important even forgotten, not to mention, some of the details kept repeated over and over in the same manner, just like hearing a story from your classmate and later the whole school knows about it, that's how the details change and maybe even the actual "red thread" of the story... This channel deserves all the support it can get and perhaps more if the support received until now isn't enough.

Your voice, use of imagery and music selection is so perfect, makes the encounters unusual but not scary. Just odd, in a curious way. Real or not, they are very peculiar stories you publish. I love them.
Most variations have been fairly consistent. Including " tic tac " ( ovoid ). As well as orb, disk ( saucer ), cigar, and triangular. Saucer only became more popularized due to a single newspaper headline regarding the Kenneth Arnold incident in 1947. Cheap and easy excuses.
This is some pretty darn good writing. No overuseage of long, extravagant and uncommon words that no one really knows the meanings of for ordinary, basic descriptions of things and scenarios, yet, also, you are just colorful enough with the adjectives that it doesnt sound like some 14 year old edgelord from reddit trying to sound deep and intelligent. Thoroughly, I am enjoying it and looking forward to giving the rest of your works a listening to.
Seems like this is quite common, but most people cannot bring themselves to accept what they've seen or to mention it to others. You wouldn't believe the things I've seen! Humanity is not alone here on Earth, and we are not the most intelligent animals.
I remember reading an account of this case in the compendium Phenomena: A Book of Wonders(1977) by Rickard and Michell, and seeing an artist's illustration of the case, in 1979. Here, it was well told in a serious manner.

What an utterly fascinating story! The beings were apparently of a species not too far removed from homo sapiens; even their facial expressions made sense to the witness as did their kind behaviour. In contrast to most encounters telepathy was not involved. The fact that they were nonetheless capable of interstellar travel demonstrates that this technology might not be beyond our ability to master since it does not seem to depend on advanced mental abilities in order to interface with it. The universe seems truly to be a source of wondrous variety and possibility for those species who are able to overcome mundane concerns and who can transend the 'beast' within.

@@volcommermaid12 It's a culture festival going on right now so a friend and I left the city and visited a Bronze Age settlement. It had some burial mounds, where Scandinavia's largest bronze age gold treasure was found, stones marking a burial feild, and we went up to an ancient castle located on top of a rock formation. Nothing left of the castle but the view was very beautiful. In the Bronze Age, the lake Mälaren went further inland so it was a strategically well-planned place right at the shoreline. There is so much with this story. I almost don't know which part I want to comment on. First, I love your channel and have enjoyed all your videos. Somewhere I read that France does not cover up UFO reports, and they have made them available to the public. Wouldn't it be great if we, the public, wasn't the last to ever find out anything? I have never heard of, or read about this incident, even that I for years was a member of a Danish, Swedish and Norwegian UFO- organization. I like that, mostly, the UFO-world repeated and repeated about the same, known cases until I went so bored so I did leave them all. Those organization still stands and live about thirty years behind what is happens to day. Those of us who want to, can attend truthful channels in here who have recent updates Luckily there is moving forward in this topic. Anyway, thank you for sharing those I have never heard about.
IIRC, this was the first CE that was really well documented in France.
Many of these has been completely unheard to me as well which makes this content all very intriquing, compared to most known cases, which also are or rather were interesting but videos created about them seem to be in numbers thirteen in a dozen. and since there are lot of storytellers about those, the details seem to change a bit every time or some very important even forgotten, not to mention, some of the details kept repeated over and over in the same manner, just like hearing a story from your classmate and later the whole school knows about it, that's how the details change and maybe even the actual "red thread" of the story... This channel deserves all the support it can get and perhaps more if the support received until now isn't enough.

It's interesting to see how drawings and pictures UFOs - the design of the craft itself - has changed over the years.
Their appearances always seem to reflect the general concensus of how tney should look at that particular era
Most variations have been fairly consistent. Including " tic tac " ( ovoid ). As well as orb, disk ( saucer ), cigar, and triangular.
Saucer only became more popularized due to a single newspaper headline regarding the Kenneth Arnold incident in 1947. Cheap and easy excuses.

Seems like this is quite common, but most people cannot bring themselves to accept what they've seen or to mention it to others. You wouldn't believe the things I've seen! Humanity is not alone here on Earth, and we are not the most intelligent animals.

I remember reading an account of this case in the compendium Phenomena: A Book of Wonders(1977) by Rickard and Michell, and seeing an artist's illustration of the case, in 1979. Here, it was well told in a serious manner.

What an utterly fascinating story!
The beings were apparently of a species not too far removed from homo sapiens; even their facial expressions made sense to the witness as did their kind behaviour. In contrast to most encounters telepathy was not involved.
The fact that they were nonetheless capable of interstellar travel demonstrates that this technology might not be beyond our ability to master since it does not seem to depend on advanced mental abilities in order to interface with it.
The universe seems truly to be a source of wondrous variety and possibility for those species who are able to overcome mundane concerns and who can transend the 'beast' within.
Or, perhaps, they were actually Humans from inside the Earth?

A few times after finishing my show, by Preston Dennet (UFO researcher- my FAVORITE) it was next. heard a few of these. 'stories in the rain' or if called "bedtime stories" ..... Isn't that a DIFFERENT category????🤔 Doesn't that mean FICTION??!? @@volcommermaid12 It's a culture festival going on right now so a friend and I left the city and visited a Bronze Age settlement. It had some burial mounds, where Scandinavia's largest bronze age gold treasure was found, stones marking a burial feild, and we went up to an ancient castle located on top of a rock formation. Nothing left of the castle but the view was very beautiful. In the Bronze Age, the lake Mälaren went further inland so it was a strategically well-planned place right at the shoreline.
The weather was perfect.

There is so much with this story. I almost don't know which part I want to comment on. First, I love your channel and have enjoyed all your videos. Somewhere I read that France does not cover up UFO reports, and they have made them available to the public. Wouldn't it be great if we, the public, wasn't the last to ever find out anything? It would be a welcome change, I think. I did cringe a little bit when the 3 year old told his father about the car on the tracks. My old lady brain went right to the 3 year old is playing outside alone. I know, 1954 was a different time, I just can't help myself. I was surprised that the visitors were described as so human looking. This is my last little thing. Where can I go to live in an old railroad building? Is that not the coolest house idea ever?!

'Tracks' is a term that refers to the pair of rails, the ties and the ballast as a whole... The wooden rail supports that displayed the indentations are called 'ties', not tracks.
