Someone true to their skin chemistry.
I went to Amouage 3 days ago to try Guidance, they were hoarding it like it was gold. It was not on the display stand like others.
Tried it on my skin and could not understand the hype.
Thank you. But its actually a scent perception, not skin chemistry, I come to learn. It doesn’t matter if it’s on paper or someone else. So basically, half the population is quietly wondering who smells like pickles 🥒 😂

Love your Laura Mercier haul, Greta! She was doing gourmands way before the category went viral, and am still using her Creme Brulee shower gel, which is so yummy. I also have her Tarte au Citron fragrance, which is perfect for summer. :)

Enjoyed your video as always, Greta! I just received my Paris Corner dupe of Guidance today. I really like it! The original was much too strong and overwhelming for me. The sandalwood in there was not my favorite. The dupe is much easier to wear. I think Guidance lovers might be disappointed in it, but it might just be perfect for the rest of us.

Love peaches revenge!i get the peach then the other fruits come off juicy but tart at the same time.totally get a dash of cinnamon in there also.i feel like it was blended very well.😊🍑

Years ago my favorite fragrance from Mercier was Creme de Pistache…..I would layer the body cream and perfume and it was beautiful….……..Guidance 46 works with my skin much better than Guidance….❤️❤️❤️

A friend has just received her Peaches Revenge and I can’t wait to hear her thoughts, sounds quite appealing from your discription😉😉. I will be sniffing Guidance 46 when we get it however, I’m still enjoying the OG😍😍. I bought Bayn Al Asrar and yes it’s like a very stripped down version of the original that might appeal to some people🤔🤔. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰

At 0:03 Speaking off "Love at first Sniff".. I stoped at UTC today on my was home from Orange County and went into the Le Labo boutique.. I smelled all 30 of the ones on display and only remotely liked ONE of them which was Ylang49. 😮

I have 3 bottles of Bayn al Asrar and I'm not ashamed. I get compliments all day even after an 8hr work day and sweat. But it's not like an "oh you smell nice", it's more exaggerated "ooh someone smells reallllly nice or you smell reallllly good whats that fragrance", then I would HAVE to either tell them or write it down. I'm enamored by that fragrance.

That is an amazing way to describe Bayn Al Asrar and Guidance! 🤓I will say I love the Bayn Al Asrar better because it’s not as complex and it’s lighter however I completely get the appeal of Guidance and understand how people could love that one🤓🤓🤓

@stellarose5887 I thought I was broken! My nose can handle complexity, but this wasn't that. My nose picks up two things rotten peach and an animalic musk fighting for attention.

It was awful! I returned it immediately!
It’s ok! No one expects 100% of people to like a scent. I am sure you aren’t the first or last. That’s why trying first is so important.
When I sampled Guidance it smelled so great that it made my day! However I know how you feel. I once blind bought a fragrance that was beautiful on others, but was kinda rank on Me. I was ashamed, but thankfully was able to refund it.

Great video Greta!! I really want to smell the guidance extrait. I do love the og edp so I have a feeling I will love it! Also peach’s revenge is so juicy and creamy! Very powerful opening!!! But there’s 1 note or accord that gives off just a slight bit of way too overripe peach where this peach has 1 hr before it’s rotten. Kinda like when an avocado goes from perfect to rotten in one dang day! Hahahahahahha so I’m hesitant to buy a full bottle of peaches 🍑 revenge
I just got the Guidance 46 yesterday. I need to wear it another day or two.
Guidance 46 is smoother, creamier, but unmistakably Guidance. I love both.

Exactly Greta, thank you for making this factual statement. I have MANY rich friends, and they do NOT buy a bunch of overpriced fragrance. People would be very surprise, one well-known person I know wears pink sugar 😂
