Love this topic! I'm wearing Pannaco right now, from a decant. I normally can't stand saffron so I took a risk with this one. The opening is very saffron heavy but it goes away in the drydown. I get an almost pine-y nuance and I like it! And on me, it's performing really well. Thanks for some great ideas!
Yes it’s more of a very mild dry spice like nutmeg.

@@GretaBeth I just checked and 1623 Cupid is more than I want to spend. I only spend over 250 on fragrances that I [really] want. I guess the discount websites have me spoiled as I ususally only pay between 150-250 for 95% of my fragrances. Anything above 250 makes me take pause. 🧐
For some reason I thought that many of the fragrances from Europe were only in the 150-200 range. I guess I was wrong.. I'm sorry I should have checked the price before saying I would purchase.
One of the discount websites already has Isola Sol for 299 which I was going to buy.. but the reviews are not good at all. People are saying it's just a "white floral" fragrance and that the peach/coconut is [far] in the distance. That's too bad.
I like to wear Tropical scents on vacation near water, they don't work well for me anywhere else !

Kilian "Can't Stop Loving You" was released last year and in my opinion it's just as good as LDBS and it has a similar scent profile.. minus the marshmallow.
