I've also eaten fluffy dosa which my mother usually cooks for me and it's great but there's something about crispy dosa that makes me go back to it. Also I had recently eaten some idiyappam which was quite brilliant in taste with the broth. There are a lot of great dishes in South Indian cuisine but it goes overlooked for some reason 😮💨. I am a North Indian and barely knew about the great tastes of southern cuisine but now I have certainly acquired a knack for eating south Indian cuisine.

You seem to take care of your food really well and that is applaudable because it's not easy to find people eating food food in the morning. I generally have oatmeal and a cup of tea with some Khakhra. That does it for breakfast. Though for lunch my cuisine is generally the Gujarati cuisine as I am from Gujarat it may vary but is generally a mix of green vegetables sometimes leafy, some wheat rotis or even bajra rotis with ghee spread on it, on the side I do have various kinds of dals depending on the vegetables. Also to end it all I may have a sharbat if the day is good (it is generally sauff/fennel as it is good for cooling down the stomach. What about you?
@@prabhuraaj101 it is very true. People nowadays choose flashy and highly spiced up food for their palate instead of healthy food. Generally if you do look at older Indian foods they're not made with a huge load of spices and taste rather bland. But they're good for stomach and body overall as everything is in an equilibrium. Look at the biryani for example, certainly it has multiple different spices but even those spices are used in limited amounts and not dumped inside like we do now. It's sad that we lost much of the great Indian cuisine for flashy foods and acquired tastes.
There is nothing wrong with saying south Indian food. Many south indians have gluten allergy and are not used to rotis and parathas or the rich gravies. My mom used to make chappattis like twice a year not much. Paneer or chole etc were never made at home. Growing up for me north indian food was chaats. If we ever went out, it was always chaats. Best invention. I married a person from north so after that everything gets cooked at home.
any time Onam sadya is my favorite, But if you want have best sleep in your life then have a Dal baphale (bati) lunch and sleep for 6 hours like a wood log in afternoon. The Kick you get in afternoon after eating Dal phapahle is beyond words. Dal baphale (bati) is a very simple rajasthani dish.
