Lots of problems with these utes,,,,,, bent chassis (fixed after 2012), smoking, stalling engine, stretched timing chains, poor steering lock, average load carrying due to the car-like rear suspension and orphan bolt pattern on wheels. 4WD/24/7 did a thorough test on several utes and this came up last place annoying Nissan to the point where they wouldn't lend a 2022 model for testing!
Do you mean 4wd 24/7 the same bunch of guys who would sell their own grandmothers if someone paid them

Timing chains are actually good and the motor very reliable. These engines have proved this after many years in Europe. Infact the renault master uses this engine and I would buy this before a hiace. One company has a fleet of masters with 500 to over 700 thousand k's and still working, in stop start city deliverys. Let me tell you trains use coils, changing a coil isn't a big deal and definitely better than ancient leaf springs for ride and flex in 4x4ing terms. 4wd 247 are very commercialised and will say anything they are paid to say, and have had a problem with Nissan for the start. They are a Toyota loving group, and Isuzu because they pay them.
