    I almost sold my Turbo kit because my Yamaha KP65 kick pad didn't quite work right. Luckily someone who saw the ad just told me to adjust the sensitivity on the kick pad and now it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

    Thank you very much for your video. At 6:30 you mentioned limitations in playing external sources such as those related to the display. Are there other more important limitations? can I definetely play an external source while drumming on it?

    is there a rim shot?

    • @RhythmRoomMusicSchool
      @RhythmRoomMusicSchool  7 місяців тому

      Hi, the snare pad is single zone, so there is no rim shot functionality, the next set up from this, the Nitro MAX, offers the ability to play a rim shot as it has a dual zone snare pad.

    Can I just buy this module (brain) and put it on my Ion Pro Session kit? My goal is to use my electronic kit like a MIDI controller for Ableton Live 9 Lite, but I need a more advanced, but cheap module than my Ion one to do it.

    ive got a mesh kit from this brand but its the surge i think can i put a extra kick pedal on it ?thanks

    • @RhythmRoomMusicSchool
      @RhythmRoomMusicSchool  5 днів тому +1

      Hi, thanks for the comment, both the Nitro Mesh and Surge Mesh have an expansion input on the module that will allow you to plug in a second bass drum tower to allow for double bass drums. Hope that helps!

      I always throw a rug under my kit. Seems to do the job. Velcro command strips may be an option toob

      Hi, thanks for the comment, yes absolutely, it's just a matter of swapping around which side you have the support pole with the three connectors on.

    Is it possible to switch the kick pedal for an actual lick pedal with a kick pedal pad

    • @RhythmRoomMusicSchool
      @RhythmRoomMusicSchool  5 місяців тому +1

      Hi, thanks for the comment, unfortunately this is not possible, the module does not support a kick tower pad.

    i have had mine up for sale for 2 weeks so far without the drum stool of headphones It is only 7 months old with the box included and I have had not one interest even though i am only asking £190 ono

      These can be hard to shift because most people tend to go for the Nitro Mesh kits as they're only a little bit more money second hand but considerably better. The time of year can be a factor too, the best time to sell an electric drum kit is November/December time on the run up to Christmas. Good luck with your sale.

      Hi, thanks for the comment, just clarifying, you refer to the Nitro Mesh in your comment but it's on a Turbo Mesh review video, can you clarify which one you have? Also, when you received the kit did you tighten the heads before you played it at all? How do you set up the pads? Are they flat or tilted towards you at an extreme angle? I've never heard of someone breaking all of the sensors in such a short space of time.

    • @Zero_Vida
      @Zero_Vida 3 місяці тому

      @@Subilon Oh there's no way to change it in the drum module but there's a fix. Basically by soldering a 4.7 KOhm resistor into each cymbal. They only cost a few cents and you can borrow a 15 or 20 watt soldering iron from your neighbor, that's enough heat output. the resistor helps to make the volume how loud it's actually supposed to be. Screw alesis for not doing this themselves. I hope thid helped! Come back if you nred morr information
