Appreciate your vid. Quite simple and helpful trouble shoot strategy. What if your numbers on the compressor connections don't add up? I tested mine and the numbers should read 4.9 but instead only get a 4.0 total of the two resistance readings. Is this something that indicates why the compressor will not start? Thanks for any feedback...
Actually, you are measuring continuity from the compressor lead to paint on the surface of the equipment. You have no idea what the resistance to ground is.

All this is done on the same setting on the amp meter?
