Super clean old saw. That was back when echo didnt have a pro and homeowner line so it is pro quality but just lacking in power due to older design architecture.
I can just tell you it looked like a puddle of black tar at the bottom. It was so tough to clean that. If I got another saw like that, I might not take it on. You really need to split the cases to get it clean enough. The saw is still running today but I'm surprised I haven't gone through another carburetor with the residue that was still at the bottom of the tank.
@@jeffdenney4148 you know Jeff, I can't remember. It was a while ago. It usually takes about five tabs. I just ordered a flywheel puller for my next project though.
@@jeffdenney4148on that old echo The nipple going from outside to a right angle into the tank is a large diameter. Therefore you could not press it on. I ended up having it a weed wacker line and then filed down the ripples on it so it fit and the molded spot for it behind the flywheel. It was a MacGyver fix.

I just learned something. Thanks Dave!!
Wish you could show what the gas line looks like

How hard was it to take flywheel off

Could you not just use a long regular gas line
